When I came in to purchase car I had my own financing set up. All I needed was to find the right pricing. Buckey Dakota had me set up to see Joseph in financing. Joseph asked if he could run my credit thinking he could get me financing that day to drive the car home that day. I didn’t know what the APR was going to be with my credit union since I was pre-approved at a specific dollar amount. Joseph contacted several creditors that ran my credit each time with no success on approval, and we discussed just running my credit once. Then I discovered after paying my taxes for car to get my tags, I was sent an email from Mary Lane that I was charged by Honda to get them. I was not aware of this since it was never discussed if I preferred Honda to get them or if I had planned to do it myself. I would have preferred to get them myself. As of this email I have not received tags since I was told that Honda had to obtain a POA to get the tags because a second signature was on the title, and they were not aware of this at the time of sale. Mary says on 09/13/21 my paperwork is going to DMV first thing in the morning…I’m still waiting for tags. I feel like finance was eager to make a sale that things was rushed and over looked and I as the customer have been taken advantage of. I understand mistakes happen but I unfairly paid for a service I didn’t need, and my credit was unnecessarily repeatability ran which lowered my score. Dakota awesome personality and the fact that I do like the car is the only bright spot out of this all.
