We walked into Hendrick Honda knowing that we HAD to get a new car, not because we wanted a new one!! You see, my car had broken down again that morning and I was DONE! I have never leased a car before so I did my homework. I narrowed it down to a few vehicles as well as the time frame I wished to put this together. I also pointed out to Richard that when I was ready to, and should I choose a Honda, I would be looking for a dealership that would accomodate my needs as well as conducting themselves professionally. In retrospect, Richard was a better salesman than I gave him credit for. I had seen him, following our first introduction, a few times and he never hawked me about my intentions. That tells me that he was listening to me when we first met. I learned that Richard was with Hendrick Honda for sometime which led me to my decision to go with Hendrick for my first lease. If Richard's professionalism outside his working environment was an indicator as to the service I'd get during my dealings with Hendrick Honda it could only be a win/win situation for me. From the moment I walked into the showroom to the day I signed the lease I was engaged by positive people....from the reception desk to the GM. The car that I purchased through Hendrick Honda was a 2012 Honda Civic Si. I had initially put in a request for a quote over the internet, which ended up going to 3 dealers in the surrounding area. The thing that separated Hendrick from the rest was that not only did they contact me almost immediately after putting in the request, they actually picked up the phone and called me. I also liked that Hendrick stayed engaged during the whole process, I didn't hear anything from the other dealerships for quite some time and had no idea where I stood on things. I initially spoke with Ryan Narus, who remained my sales person for the entire purchasing process. I'm glad he did, he was enthusiastic, while still retaining his professionalism, to the point, and generally great to talk with. I'm one of those people that doesn't want to feel as if he's talking with a sales person. I want myself and the sales associate to be on the same level and I felt I got that with Ryan. I figured if I was going to buy a car like a Civic Si, I wanted the entire purchasing experience to be fun, and Ryan pulled that off. Kudos to you Ryan, I really do appreciate that. So, is there anything I can complain about when it comes to Hendrick Honda? This doesn't happen often, but there really isn't. When thinking back to my time spent there I can't think of one thing that didn't work for me.
