I have taken my car to Hendrick for oil changes and service since I moved here 4 years ago. I have always had great service until recently. I took my 2017 Sportage to a mechanic to have some work done. service since I moved here 4 years ago. I have always had great service until recently. I took my 2017 Sportage to a mechanic to have some work done. I asked them to check out why the drivers side door would not unlock after locking. They checked it out and discovered this problem is covered by an extended warranty of the door latch at Kia. I then called Hendrick. They told me they saw no recall for this problem and I would need to call the main Kia number. After an over two hour wait on hold with Kia, I finally got ahold of a person who was very helpful and told me that the Kia dealership should have handled this for me. The representative at Kia actually called Hendrick while I was still on the phone. She told me that Hendrick told her they were short staffed. After this experience, i was able to get an appointment at the Kia dealership in Raleigh to handle this extended warranty issue. I will not be returning to Hendrick. Additionally, I was originally going to take my Kia for the door latch issue before I knew of the extended warranty but was told I would have to wait two months to get an appointment. That's too long to have to enter my car on the passenger side in order to open the driver side door!! More

We had the best experience ever with Josh. He went above and beyond to find what we wanted. He asked a few questions and came back with what we wanted. Worst experience ever with the service dept. Everytime I walked in I felt like I was bothering them. Phone calls and text messages go unreturned or returned in a un-timely fashion. Brought car back 3 times walked in I felt like I was bothering them. Phone calls and text messages go unreturned or returned in a un-timely fashion. Brought car back 3 times after they replaced entire engine. The bill was $1,700 over original estimate. The paper work presented to me had no breakdown for parts labor or even tax. Just a total owed by customer. Kia paid 2000 towards repair however this was not shown on the bill. All parts used were simply put down as warranty. This was a 7 month process for repair to be completed. More
