I received an email from Lexus for "complimentary service" for 40,000 mile items. Called the service department to schedule the appointment and told them of the email. They said they "would honor i service" for 40,000 mile items. Called the service department to schedule the appointment and told them of the email. They said they "would honor it". Got to the dealer and was told they would not honor it. Asked for the service department manager. He was out. So, I left and asked him to call me. He did about 10 minutes later and offered to "make it right" by picking up the Lexus from work, giving my a loaner vehicle, and returning it when the service was complete. When I called a couple days later to arrange that no one could recall that conversation or find a record of it. The service manager was, once again, out. So, I asked for him or someone else to call me. Still waiting on that call... Not sure they could have done any worse. More
