I had bought my first rav4 2017 form them all was all had no problems , at the beginning of 2020 I got my new rav4 2020 first they messed up my contract 3 time I had to keep coming in , then had problems wit no problems , at the beginning of 2020 I got my new rav4 2020 first they messed up my contract 3 time I had to keep coming in , then had problems with the battery of a brand new car that kept on dieing ? Then the tires 3 time keep getting flat every time I going for service. Finally I went in on the 13th of July because I had a trip to go to PA guess what I have a flat tire and stuck in the middle of the high way from a tire I had a problem with and went to fix it 3 times to do so still not done now I am waiting for the towing truck to fix the car lesson learned never buy a car again from Hendrick apex Nc take my word for it More
I came in as a first time car buyer to look at a preowned vehicle on the lot. Went for a test drive with Tom McClay and it felt as if I had a friend riding with me (and found out we graduated from the same c vehicle on the lot. He is so personable yet professional, and I could tell he really loved his job and cared more about creating a special experience than making a sale. Despite walking out without the car, my experience with Tom was the best yet. He acknowledged that buying a car was a big step for me but I felt supported the entire time and did not feel pressured to make a decision. Tom made sure I had all the information I needed and answered any questions I had so I could make an informed decision. In the near future, I hope to do business/give my business to Tom McClay at Hendrick Toyota Apex :) More
Had a service appointment at 1:00pm ...Marcus told me 1 hr and 30 minutes would be the wait time...He was kinda clueless...I told him I would wait....got email 2 hrs later saying time would be completed be hr and 30 minutes would be the wait time...He was kinda clueless...I told him I would wait....got email 2 hrs later saying time would be completed before 4:30 pm....after 50 minutes over he calls me to come get the car but he never let me know he was running behind. He even forgot I was waiting. I work 6 days a week and this day was my day off and I am busy...He could have at least took 1 minute to call or text to let me know he was running behind...nothing...I bring it up to him and he gets defensive....no empathy...their customer service sucks AFTER you buy a car. Hendrick could care less about your time....I did email Hendrick as well....Tag # 3626 More
I had a great buying experience with Hendrick Toyota of Apex. My salesman, Oneil Burton, was completely awesome. He helped me get the truck I was looking for even with the current shortages. And the finance manager, Angelo Terry, got me a price and rate that I could work with. All in all, this was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I look forward to doing business with these guys for a long time. More
7/12/21 - Ok, now I've had my vehicle... and Hendrick service ... for about 3.5 months now and feel that I can give a more accurate assessment of my experience. First, I found out several weeks after service ... for about 3.5 months now and feel that I can give a more accurate assessment of my experience. First, I found out several weeks after my purchase that an extra warranty plan that I had declined had "accidentally" been added to my purchase. $2200. You sign all of the documents electronically, which they zip through very quickly, and you don't even get a paper copy to read (it's all on a thumb drive). I happened to look through it about 10 days later and noticed it was added. I was not happy about that at all and complained to the finance manager about it. He offered to remove it, but I was in the process of refinancing the loan (got a loan through USAA for about 0.5% lower.... that's what I get for not having a pre-approved loan before going to the dealer....) He said that the service agreement would be refunded to me when I refinanced the loan. That never happened and he was full of baloney... Other things that I've found pretty misleading: * "Free carwashes for life!" - Yea, if their carwash is turned on / working. I've been there 4 times, it's worked twice. And it's very basic, so don't expect your car to be very clean. * Purchased a 6 oil change / tire rotation package for $300. - I thought this was a pretty good deal, until I attempted to schedule service. The scheduling system on the Hendrix website sucks. I mean, it's absolute garbage. I'm a pretty tech savvy guy in my 30s and I have yet to figure out how to schedule a simple oil change and tire rotation despite two separate attempts. When I called to get one scheduled, the closest one I could get that fit my schedule was 3 days out. Pretty disappointing. I live 1/4 mile away from the dealership and ended up going to the Jiffy Lube next door, spending $130 for the same service. Overall, I'm pleased with the vehicle, but all of the service surprises on the back end have been really disappointing. If a dealership promises you all sorts of perks, take them with a grain of salt. And be sure to read the fine print carefully as you sign the paperwork, so they don't "accidentally" screw you. More

Not knowing exactly what kind of car in which we were interested, I checked this website and saw two possibilities. When we met Tom, he took us directly to see the cars I saw online. Being very respectful to us with our limited knowledge of newer cars, he very clearly explained all the new “bells and whistles” of the car we were considering. His incredible knowledge gave us the confidence to make the decision this was the car for us. Tom’s professional experience and politeness towards us confirmed he is the person and this is the car dealership for us. You won’t be disappointed! More
