After doing some online research, I printed the pertinent information and drove to Hendrick Toyota of Apex. I told the sales manager that I would like a salesman who was willing to not play games and waste m information and drove to Hendrick Toyota of Apex. I gave the sales manager the paperwork for the two trucks that I wanted to drive, including the VIN numbers. I had a specific, rigid list of specifications. I also had a very limited timeline. He suggested a salesman, the problem was that the salesman was tied up in a sales meeting. I waited patiently till the salesman was free. When I met the salesman,Darrin Locking, I gave him the paperwork on the two vehicles that I wanted to test drive. Shortly thereafter, he informed me that the diesel had just been pulled due to someone leaving a deposit. My focus was primarily to buy the diesel. The other truck that was left was very nice and at a reasonable price, but it lacked the various safety packages that I required. I was somewhat disappointed that the two vehicles that I came over to look at were not pulled from the lot as soon as I informed them of the two vehicles that I was interested in. I had specifications and packages that I required. Darrin was very professional, exceptionally accommodating, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. He did everything that he could, with the safety specifications and the time limitations that I had placed upon myself. Couldn’t ask for a better experience with my sales person, Darrin . I left a little disappointed with the dealership, I incorrectly assumed that someone would have thought to pull the two vehicles off the lot that I was interested in after I gave them the VIN numbers. I was very pleased and very satisfied with the efforts that Darrin put in to get me in a vehicle at that time. If I were to go back to Hendrick Toyota of Apex, I would certainly ask for Darrin again. I would certainly direct my friends to Darrin if asked for a recommendation. More
