Bait and Switch Tactics I had been using this dealership to service my cars and thought I would try shopping for a new car here. I used their online trade-in value tool and m I had been using this dealership to service my cars and thought I would try shopping for a new car here. I used their online trade-in value tool and made an appointment to see a salesperson. When I got there we looked at some cars and I explained that I would be using the equity from my trade to purchase new Toyota. I gave the car to the used car sales manager for an appraisal. He came back with a low ball offer that was $3000-$4000 below the value tool. I asked him why he was low-balling me when his sister dealership just down the road had the exact same car for sale(with more miles) for $7000 dollars more than he was offering me. I received no answer!! I ended up bringing the my trade(2003 Corvette) to their competitor Fred Anderson Toyota. They gave me a value towards the top of the online value tool for the car and we bought a new Camry for $800 less than Hendricks best price. These old school sales tactics just make people angry!! If you want to be treated right and get a fair deal go to Fred Anderson Toyota! More

Great Service The service team was in contact with me throughout the day. They completed the maintenance that I requested, they recommended some work to have done, The service team was in contact with me throughout the day. They completed the maintenance that I requested, they recommended some work to have done, and they reported some things that were fixable but not worth the effort (like having to pull the dash to fix a bulb issue in a display). Thanks to the thoroughness of the service team, I feel very comfortable with this 4Runner as a safe and reliable vehicle for my 16 year old even as it crosses 200K miles. I am sure there is another Toyota in our future. More

Don't bother paying for the extras To begin with, my salesperson knew next to nothing about the new 2016 Highlander I purchased. I had to point out some features to him during the test To begin with, my salesperson knew next to nothing about the new 2016 Highlander I purchased. I had to point out some features to him during the test drive, and later have friends and family who had a Toyota show me many others after I purchased the car. This dealership seems to have very high turnover of employees and having come from a retail background I'm sure it's because they pay them next to nothing (which, to be fair, I doubt is a problem with this particular dealership and more about the industry as a whole). My brand new car came with the $900 paint and door protection package--yet, when a small object fell off another car and chipped the paint on the front of my hood on the clear coat, it was not covered. They said the clear coat protection was "mainly for things like tree sap and bird droppings." OK.... so then why is it only the front HALF of the hood? AND why was it presented to me as a safety against chips and scrapes to the paint???? I travel for work on a regular basis and one of the selling points (of a protection I wasn't seeking in the first place) was that it would cover some of the inevitable wear and tear of driving on the highway. Overall I am happy with the SUV that I took months researching and shopping around for, but I do not trust this dealership or their "warranties" at all. I am so glad I didn't pay several thousand more for their extended car care, as I would now assume they would weasel their way out of any repair they could. Especially when I pay for a car outright, I expect the dealership to keep their end of a bargain. The next time I buy a vehicle it will be at another dealership. More
