On the phone the recording says they care about protecting customers from COVID. Was told they wear masks by the person answering the phone. No masks. No sanitizer. Great experience with Hendrick Toyota. Katrina Heredia, the online manager, took great care of my wife and me. She was very personable and helped us get the best deal possible. Brian Ward, the financing an the online manager, took great care of my wife and me. She was very personable and helped us get the best deal possible. Brian Ward, the financing and insurance director, took care of the financial part of the deal. He was very down to earth and friendly. He made our car buying experience worth every minute and he genuinely wanted to take care of us and give us the best deal. Called to inquire about a new purchase of a truck , and spoke with a Tony, who by the way was very nice !..Preface -(My brother in - law had purchased a vehicle here 1 week prior and claimed to have gotten spoke with a Tony, who by the way was very nice !..Preface -(My brother in - law had purchased a vehicle here 1 week prior and claimed to have gotten a good deal) He gave his sales lady “Katrina” our number , and said that we were also shopping for a vehicle . With that being said , I had not heard from anyone at the dealership , so I called and Tony answered . I told him that I was inquiring about a vehicle on their website , he proceeded to tell me that it was not available any longer and just hadn’t been taken off of website , but they could get one in that color in another month . I asked could they get one from another location and he got my info and said he was going to go work on it and call me back . In the meantime I get a missed call from an out of state number . I didn’t answer the 1st time, but then my husband called me and said the lady called him and he gave her my number and told her to call me because I was handling the Deal. She called a second time and I answered . She immediately sounded aggravated that she was having to call the wife . Then she proceeded to talk over me and try to explain what “deal” she was willing to offer me .. And I said “I don’t want you to waste any time, but I am already dealing with Tony could I speak to him ?.. She sounded offended , and then she said well Tony doesn’t handle sales or prices . She then attempted again to give her spill , and I had to stop her and explain that she had the wrong vehicle that I interested in , but that Tony is working on it for me , and that’s why I felt it is best that I just speak with him . She then laughed at me and acted as if she had a problem with that ... I said “ I was going to give you a chance .. and let you help me , but when you laughed , you lost my business , so now , that’s why I want to deal with Tony! As if that wasn’t bad enough Customer Service , she then proceeded to say in a loud and angry voice “ you have a nasty attitude !“ I said and this dealership will def. not get my business now ! and I hung up on her !.. Then I dialed her back and told her to be sure to pass along to her manager ,the reason the dealership lost a sale - was bc of her attitude !.. I then hung up and called the Manager and gave a detailed complaint , he sincerely apologized and said that it was not acceptable , I said well it’s unfortunate that her attitude costed his dealership a $33,000 sale in 2 min and 7 second phone call and that in that short call / she was able to call a customer “ Nasty” , When in fact her actions were so unprofessional and nasty !... after that he said if I decide to do business that he will help me and gave me his number .. I found out that an hour later after she got fussed at by her boss / she called my brother in law crying and who knows what else .. and begged him to write an email to her manager to speak highly of his experience with her and his purchase the week before .. so that she wouldn’t lose her job . I was disgusted ! I called back to speak to the manager / left 2 voicemails and a personal message with the secretary ... no returned calls as of yet .. still waiting !... I looked on their website to see who the managers names are ... and saw her name listed with all of the other staff names . Looked her up on FB, and low and behold , guess who she is married to , one of the “Sales managers “ listed on the website .. Highly unlikely she was fussed at !.. Disgusting ! and UNACCEPTABLE ! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN , THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN PURCHASE #2 at their dealership for us / and a total of our 5th Toyota purchase in 20 years ... I found the same vehicle in the color we wanted at Rocky Mount Toyota with Brent~ ( awesome Customer Service at Rocky amount Toyota BTW!!!) * that’s what customer service should be like!!!! He offered it to us for $600 less than what my brother in law paid at this lousy dealership .. SO THANKFUL WE DIDN'T GO TO CHARLESTON ! TAKE MY ADVISE , DON’T DEAL WITH KATRINA OR ~ This dealership !!!!! YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTER OFF 👍🏼 More
