I should not have given them Excellent! I should have waited to fill out my customer experience review until after I actually met with finance personnel and received my new vehicle. After I made the deal and went into the finance area, none of the numbers were correct. When we questioned them about the numbers we got "oh, they forgot to input the new numbers in the computer". I started feeling like I had to double check everything I was doing with them. My new highlander was coming from another dealer out of town. In the deal they were to apply a bumper guard. I received a call to pick up the car the next day but no bumper guard had been installed. I asked for it to be installed prior to pick up. On Tuesday, I received a call stating they didn't have the bumper guard and would be able to obtain and install it the next day. On that Wednesday, I never received a call about the car, so I called, and was told it was ready for pick up; yet no one from the dealership had called me. I believed that all I needed to do was stop in and do the walk around on the vehicle and then leave. I arrived the next morning and did the walk around the vehicle and it was only then that I learned this wasn't the vehicle I purchased that Sunday, that one had been sold by the other dealer. This one was a different vehicle and ALL the paperwork had to be re-done. So my quick pick up of the vehicle was another 2 hours of waiting and completing paperwork. After they met all the changes that were on the other car with this new car, the salesman took me out to the vehicle, showed me the box of mats for the car in the back and nothing else. didn't install them, didn't show me anything else about the car. Would I give them "Excellent" service now that all this has occurred, absolutely NOT! I should have been notified of the car issue so I could have scheduled my time for another round of paperwork. My advice - don't fill out any service ratings until after you have your vehicle and are about to drive off the lot. I'm not sure if I would buy another vehicle from them. More
