Free Oil Change I responded to an offer of a free oil change in exchange for test driving a new vehicle. I fully expected a high pressure sales spiel but this was not I responded to an offer of a free oil change in exchange for test driving a new vehicle. I fully expected a high pressure sales spiel but this was not the case. I arrived early for my appointment but my car was immediately taken back to service. I was given a bottle of water as soon as I arrived and was pleasantly greeted by everyone in the showroom. The salesman was extremely personable and accommodating while discussing SUV's with me. He sent me on a test drive in the vehicle of my choice and answered all my questions. I told him I would not be trading cars today but possibly in the future. He thanked me for being allowed to assist me and gave me his card. No pressure to buy. Once my free oil change was complete, I was asked about having some preventative maintenance items done to my car which I declined based on my time schedule. No pressure - just told they were recommended items. This was perhaps the most pleasurable experience I have ever had at a car dealer. My current car came from Hendricks Toyota and my next one will as well. Thank you for a great experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership! More
Wonderful and Excellent Experience My Wife & I had a very wonderful and excellent experience today at Hendrick Toyota Scion North Charleston, SC, when we purchased our 2014 Scion XD (us My Wife & I had a very wonderful and excellent experience today at Hendrick Toyota Scion North Charleston, SC, when we purchased our 2014 Scion XD (used) and had our 2016 4Runner SR5 for complimentary services at the same time. My Wife and I had agreed to give Excellent and 5 Star ratings for the following criteria: Customer Service, Quality of Work and Friendliness. And we gave a consensus of Good and 4 Star rating for the Price criterion. We would like to make special mention to these wonderful and excellent workforce of your company, namely : Ms. Jennie Zehr and Mr. Patrick " The Good News" Coleman from Sales Department; Ms. Jessi Muhs of Service Department ( She's very accomodating & friendly); Mr. Robbie "BB" Beebe of Finance Department (He's articulate with his job and we also share the same passion for watches 👍👌🏻😎); and last but not the least, Mr. W. Hunt ( title & finance manager during our 2016 4Runner SR5 purchase, I don't know if he's still around though) Anyway, keep up the good work guys and thank you! God bless you all! More
Maintenance Dropped off my car on a Saturday and met with service attendant Jeff Luther. Car was scheduled for service on Monday and I heard from Jeff right away. I did all the recommended service and was told car would be ready for pick up on Wednesday. I called late Wednesday because I was not able to pick up until the following day due to work schedule. On Thursday at my lunch I was dropped off and went inside the service area. There were 3 service people standing to the left of me and was waiting for someone to greet me. Standing there like a deer in the headlights, I turned to the left and asked who to see regarding my car. A woman service person told me to see who I left my car with. Because I dropped my car off 5 days ago, I would not be able to pick him out of a crime line up. I was furious so I then went to the cashier thinking that it where I was to go. No one was at the cashier desk so I ask a salesman in a red shirt to show me where the managers office was. The manager was with another customer and walked out of his office as I approached. I went back into the service area and now Jeff Luther approached me and greeting me, already knowing who I was. I was told my charge would be $1700 and I gave him a $20 rewards coupon and he said do you have any more. Well I did at home, but per the coupon it said only 1 per visit. He said let me see what I can do for you. He came back with a reduced price of $1550. He was so kind and welcoming. As he left to get my car I asked to see the manager once again, I told him I was very upset by my first greeting. Not that I expect everyone to say "Welcome to Moe's" I certainly did not expect that woman to tell me to see who I dropped it off with. I spoke with the manager and told him of my experience and he was very apologetic and sympathetic. He asked what he could do, and I told him I wanted Jeff Luther to be made an example of what outstanding customer service should look like. Since I purchased my car 6 years ago, I take it there every few months to have a basic oil change and tire rotation. The ONLY reason I will go back is because of the attention I received from Jeff Luther. As I was done speaking with the manager, Jeff Luther drove up to me with my car washed!!! Great Job, Jeff!!! 25000 mile service Oil level was incorrect after Hendrick did an oil change Did not check it until I got home, did not think it would be necessary. Had to return to dealer the next day to have it corrected. They took care of it, but was an added hassle to have to return for such a simple maintenance task. More
