I had researched a few vehicles prior to coming to this dealership and narrowed it down to two Toyota models. I went to another Toyota dealership, prior to coming to this one, to test drive the vehicle mo dealership and narrowed it down to two Toyota models. I went to another Toyota dealership, prior to coming to this one, to test drive the vehicle model that I was leaning towards. Unfortunately, they wanted to charge me an additional $1,500 to "Certify" the vehicle I was contemplating to purchase. After going online in their parking lot, I found the same model, year, price and mileage vehicle located at Toyota Scion North Charleston. Thank God for the internet and a mobile app - cars.com! I found an almost identical vehicle that was "Certified Pre-Owned" and was in much better shape I arrived at TSNC and was immediately greeted by Fonda, who listened to what I was looking for and promptly returned with keys to take test drive. Immediately following the test drive, Fonda asked if I was ready to talk numbers. Direct and to the point...worked for me. After brief negotiations, I had a koozie and two key-chains with keys to my new FJ Cruiser! From start to finish, the experience was much better than I expected and on-par with what I would expect at a Rick Hendrick dealership. More
