Disappointed 8 year long customer. (I am willing to edit and/or remove any comments of this review that can be proven to not be true) I purchased a highlander in 2013 from Hendrick Toy (I am willing to edit and/or remove any comments of this review that can be proven to not be true) I purchased a highlander in 2013 from Hendrick Toyota of North Charleston and had a good experience. For 8 years I drove up to North Charleston to get my car service despite Fred Anderson being closer to me. I did this because I had a good experience here and still will give the service department a 5 star rating all day long (I really liked them). I regularly referred friends and colleagues here but no more. Recently I had a disappointing experience and have since canceled my car order with Toyota of North Charleston (I have not received an email that tells me if I will be getting my $500 deposit back). I have documented all my interactions and this is not just an upset review. I have since ordered a car from Fred Anderson Toyota that gave me a much better price and was transparent on pricing. Reasons why I wrote this review and why I would not recommend this dealership: 1) Not fully transparent with regards to pricing which in my case involves mandatory add-on's implemented by Hendrick Automotive group for which I could not find a consensus after calling different dealerships. (I am not talking about the add-on's on the price quote, those prices were clear and upfront) I was ok paying this dealership more for a car given my 8 years of excellent customer service that I had. 2) I requested help from Toyota in this matter (3 calls) The last call I was told that this dealership marked my case as resolved with the customer to the Toyota customer service line but I did not hear anything from anyone (This at least was my understanding of the case. I have the case number). 3) I also contacted the Hendrick Automotive group and again, I have not heard back from them. I also have a transcript with my interactions. Finally after canceling my order I asked to be contacted only by email. I still have not had a follow up email. A very disappointed customer. More
Danny Marflake was awesome again! He was very patient and thorough helping my daughter purchase her first new car. She loves her Camry SE. He meticulously went over all the options, controls and buttons. Danny has helped me in the past several times, so it was clear who and where we going to purchase. Our finance Mgr. Jordon Baylon was extremely helpful in explaining the finance procedure and warranties. We did purchase a couple of programs. Thanks again... More
BEWARE! !! I just moved to North Charleston and bought a 2014 BMW X5 from the dealership at 7151 Rivers Ave on 7/29/22. Three days after purchasing the car I !! I just moved to North Charleston and bought a 2014 BMW X5 from the dealership at 7151 Rivers Ave on 7/29/22. Three days after purchasing the car I took the car on the interstate for the first time. When accelerating the car has a violent shake making it unfit to drive daily with my daughter in the car. I am a father with one car. I am now having to rent a car at $60 a day because they took my last car in on a trade. The dealership finally got me an appointment to get the car inspected a week later. Then I was advised that it’s “regular wear and tear” on the car. This is interesting seeing as though I have owned two 528 i vehicles in the past. To top everything off, when I went to pick my car back up, they couldn’t find it on the lot and I had to search for it by myself. Granted I am on crutches from knee surgery. The customer service is awful. Please RUN!! If you buy from here, you will find out the HARD WAY as well. Daniel was my sales rep. Garrett was the service advisor that said there’s nothing wrong with the car. The sales manager also was rude and talked down to me. BEWARE! More
