First let me premise by saying I have always disliked the experience at car dealerships, especially as a single mother. I have never liked the pushy or scare-induced selling tactics, let alone men automatica experience at car dealerships, especially as a single mother. This was my first time at Hendrick and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a wonderful experience with George Strong who helped me purchase my younger son's first car. He was immediately responsive over the weekend when I submitted the initial inquiry, even when they were closed on Sunday. He followed up with all the necessary information and we set up a test drive. Now, this wasn't any ordinary test drive. The car we were interested in was an automatic, which my son did not know how to drive so he offered to teach him! He was extremely patient as my son learned how. This of course took extra time and effort that I really appreciated. He was also super easy to deal with through the entire process after that as we did ultimately purchase the car. As far as the dealership, the whole place has a laid back vibe to it, which I really appreciate. And I can compare this to another North Texas VW dealership that I had visited a few days before that gave me a very different experience (go back to the first sentence of this review). I am glad this will be my son's first car experience as we will stay with them for maintenance too- this team and the finance team were also top notch. Would highly recommend this dealership, and George Strong in particular if you want a VW without all the hassle and stress. More
