After 35 years of purchasing every car I've owned from Henna and doing repair services with Henna over the last 35 years, I have asked Henna to stop all contact with me after a fiasco in which my car repa Henna and doing repair services with Henna over the last 35 years, I have asked Henna to stop all contact with me after a fiasco in which my car repair was estimated at $3,500 to $9,000. It was like pulling teeth to find out what required up to $9,000. I insisted on an email of the estimate and only got a readable document of the $3,500. The $3,500 was for repairs I was aware of the problem issues and specifically stated I did not need looked at when I dropped off the car. So how do I get an estimate of $3,500 - $9,000 and the $3,500 does not include any of the repairs I needed, steering and air conditioner. The full $9,000 worth of repairs included the repairs I needed and I was told all of the repairs could be accomplished with a new loan company available through a new Henna lending partner. It went sideways from there. I want nothing to do with Henna ever again. I have already told them to leave me alone and unsubscribed from their emails. It took me going to a manager to get the other document showing the $5,500 in repairs which included the air conditioner and the steering which actually needed repairs. I did lose my temper over the pressure to do the $9,000 worth of repairs which $4,200 were for actual repairs services to address the issues I brought the car in for, the estimate included a few issues I wanted to opt out of because it did not impact the drivability of the car. After losing my temper over the pressure to get a loan for the $9,000 as all of the repairs were "necessary", in the opinion of the service assistant, I did apologize for being so upset, I took my car back paying the $451.00 non-refundable "estimate fee" (also a new Henna policy to charge estimate fees for every different part of the engine to be looked. Last fall my car went in for repairs with Henna and the fee was $165 for any and all issues; however the new fee is now $165 for different parts of the engine that may need a different mechanic). The Henna managers felt they were generous to reduce the non-refundable estimate fee from $495.00 (they claimed 3 different parts of my engine had to be looked at by different mechanics). They threw in an oil change refused do any of the repairs because ... I am still not sure because that is a completely different policy and pressure campaign that threw me for a loop. In the end they reduced my estimate fee to $451.00 which included a free oil change. I did get my car repaired and it runs great. I went to Lucas Tires and Auto on Burnet Road in Austin. I networked with friends until I found a repair shop that a friend highly recommended. I highly recommend them. No estimate fee. Repairs were done quick. I paid $2,948 to repair my air-conditioner and steering issue. Lucas Tires stated none of the other fluids Henna insisted I need to change needed to be replaced and they never even noticed the small drip from the oil pan which has dripped for 8 years and is so minor it has never impacted my oil pressure or fluid. So, I ended my 35 year relationship with Henna and I still am getting emails despite requesting Henna never contact me again. This review is because I keep getting emails and unsubscribe is not working! Henna - Please never contact me again. Last fall I would give them a 5 star rating and for all service over the last 35 years. I always recommended before this year. Now, I give them a zero and I saved money at Lucas Tires and Auto. More

This was my first time purchasing a car from Henna, but the process was very smooth. Saw the car online, went for a test drive and purchased the same day.
