Sales process Upon arriving at the dealership, I was immediately approached by my sales rep,Gerren Therrell. He was very personable, knowledgeable of the product, and friendly. He answered my questions and we went on a demo ride. I left the dealership and later called Mr. Therrell to discuss pricing. I do not like the time wasted on negotiating the price. I asked for the best price I could get and he returned my call with an acceptable offer. I asked if there were other charges and he explained there was a $595. doc fee. I explained that was not acceptable due to the fact I had been given a sales price and I did not think it right to basically up the price. He stated he would take care of it. I replied that I would be in the next day to take delivery. Prior to going to the dealership, I called Mr. Therrell to again verify the price and was told the numbers were the same. However, when we went over the initial paperwork, the $595. fee was included in the sales contract. I was told this was a practice by every dealer in the Atlanta area. We were able to negotiate a somewhat acceptable price, but I feel this practice is misleading to the buying public. In my opinion, it borders on being deceptive. You are given a price, then it goes up by an additional $600. It was almost a deal breaker and if we had not come to terms on some additional routine service, I would not have purchased the vehicle. I must add that I honestly believe that my sales rep. did everything he could to get the doc. fee reduced or removed. His sales manager just would not budge. More

From the beginning of this process, Mr. Hill was understanding, pleasant, professional, and most importantly for me is the fact that he did not pressure me. As I shared with him, I had experienced a horrible situation with another GMC dealership that really made me weary of the car buying process. He was very calm and he had a great sense of humor. Mr. Hill kept me informed of what was going on with the vehicle as I went back and forth on what decision to make. Upon a request I made and that he was willing to support(with manager backing), I am now the owner of a 2013 Terrain. I will surely recommend this dealership to my family, friends, and associates.
