We are sorry that you did not have a 100% positive experience here at Hennessy of Southlake. Your vehicle was initially appraised with an ABS and Traction Control light on. You were told that your vehicle would be worth more if it were fixed. You came in the second time while our service department was closed and we could not verify that the actual repairs had been made. We asked you for the receipts to show that the repairs had been made so we could give you top dollar for your trade and you said you could not produce the receipts. The reason we ask for receipts on repairs outside of our service department is to be able to verify that check engine lights and other dash lights have not been reset and turned off without actually making the necessary repairs. We were happy that you were able to come back in and actually save $1,000 and were also able to upgrade to a Tahoe with Navigation rather than without.

We are sorry that your experience wasn't 100% positive. Your turecar certificate was 100% honored based on the $1,000 customer cash incentive you chose when you created the certificate. Truecar doesn’t give the option to select both $1,000 customer cash and the 0% incentive because they are not combinable. And in this case the $1,000 customer cash was selected and the price quoted was honored by us. As explained at the time of purchase when you inquired about adding the 0% option, you cannot combine the $1,000 customer cash and the 0% financing offered from Mazda. At no time was the truecar price offered or advertised with the 0% and $1,000 customer cash combined. We provided proof of incentive compatibility as well.
