After buying 2 cars (2018 X5, 2021 X3) at Herb Chambers of Subury and having both cars faithfully serviced there per warranty recommendations, I am faced with the challenge of finding a fair reliable and r of Subury and having both cars faithfully serviced there per warranty recommendations, I am faced with the challenge of finding a fair reliable and reasonable BMW service provider. My issues are having costly, unnecessary and unauthorized service performed, getting invoices sent via email for service costing over $12,000, without any discussions with service techs or service reps. In addition, being expected to accept all recommended work and per newly implemented payment terms and policy required to pay on line prior to picking up my car. Fortunately, Robert Cohoon, Service Mgr. interceded (by exception) due to my dissatisfaction with a newly hired service rep and helped me avoid the very worst service experience of my 51 years of driving BMW's (having purchased my first 2002 in 1972). In all my years of business experience and in dealing with BMW dealers dating back Foreign Motors BMW of Boston, started by Tom Mix, I have never seen such unacceptable business practices.
