I bought my truck at Herb Chambers Chevy in 07 the truck was a left over model and had been sitting on the lot for over a year. After I purchased it and started to put it work I have a quiet few problems wi was a left over model and had been sitting on the lot for over a year. After I purchased it and started to put it work I have a quiet few problems with it from the wiper blades being totally trashed on the first rain I drove it in to the breaks being glazed over so the dealer ship had to replace the rotors and pads a tie rod coming apart and the last repair the a leak in the rear axles. There has been a few more service issues I have had with the truck that I wish just to forget about needless its been very frustrating have a truck with less than 34000 miles having all these problems with a truck that needs to be working every day. My service adviser Scott Lyons has been just awesome, he has been on his a game every time I am there at the shop. I highly recommend going to see Scott if you ever need work done on your GM vehicles Sincerely Eric Chase More

On August 5, 2010, I took my 1998 S-10 in to be serviced. I was treated as if I had just bought a new car. This seems like the beginning of a long term relationship. Scott is the guy I always go to there. He always helps me out from when I'm scheduled for an oil change/tire rotation to my transmission dying recently and he found out it was covered under warranty! I had taken my Buick in for brakes and an oil change. As always, I called Scott a few days ahead to see if it is ok to take the car in. This morning when I got to the service door it was a few minutes early. I just shut my car off to remove the car keys from my other ones while I waited for service to open. As I was doing this he must have seen me, opened the doors and told me to pull on it. He remembered what I was having done. When he told me I also needed shocks and to have them done soon as they were leaking badly. Asking him if it would take long to add that he said total about 2 1/2 hours for everything.. it was just about 2 hours when I saw that my car was ready and he was bringing it around for me. Earlier than anticipated.. nice! Anytime I have a question, he always answers then says "we will take care of you". He will always try to get things done in the most inexpensive way and not try to "rake" me on parts or unnecessary service. The mechanics are great; they infrom you of things that need to be repaired immediately or in the near future. It is nice to be warned ahead of time. I know if I run into unexpected problems, I will be given a ride home (and back) or be set up for a loaner. Getting the car back washed and vacuumed is an extra perk too. That's nice. Herb Chambers is the only place I go to since moving back to Peabody six years ago (and also when I lived here prior). I can always count on great service, and no smooth talking to get more money out of me- just the facts, and any options I may have, to get the job done and done right. It is the little things as I have mentioned that make us as customers feel like we are the only ones being taken care of no matter how busy it may be. Friendliness and going the extra step keeps me coming back. More
