Chris is very informative, knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond in making our experience in purchasing our new SUV as easy as possible. I especially liked the fact that he wanted to go the extra mile (no pun intended) with our purchase of our new Explorer. To say the least, we would highly recommend Chris to anybody who is looking for a quality vehicle, brand new or certified pre-owned. He knows how to work with his customers with exceptional service and attention to detail and he's a huge driving force with why we elected to make our purchase at Herb Chambers. Questionable techniques At best I will say that this dealership has very poor coordination between the "call/email you every other day" department and the "burst your bubble" At best I will say that this dealership has very poor coordination between the "call/email you every other day" department and the "burst your bubble" department. After weeks of receiving calls and emails, I finally decided to take a look at a vehicle that was "here and available". When I arrived at the dealership less than 20 hours after being told that the truck was available, I was informed that the truck had been sold "last night"--interesting in that the dealership wasn't open the previous night, but had hours listing a closing for late afternoon. I was then shown a list of trucks that were also not available--still listed on the website, but not available for purchase, ostensibly because the website had "not been updated". This is not a good business practice. Hire someone to keep your website updated and spare potential customers the inconvenience of driving miles for nothing. OR, have the "call/email you department" (this department functions extremely well!!) place a call or an email letting the customer know that the vehicle of interest is no longer available. At worst? I might tend to think I was the victim of the old "bait and switch" technique... More
Terrible Experience I took a few months to "cool off" before writing this review because if I had written it immediately after my purchase...it would have been much more I took a few months to "cool off" before writing this review because if I had written it immediately after my purchase...it would have been much more mean. I originally leased a vehicle through Herb Chambers Ford so I figured I would use the same dealership to return my lease and purchase a used car. The process took 3 days (3 hours Saturday, 3 hours Sunday and 5 hours Monday). Each day I was told to "sit tight, we will have you all wrapped up soon." and each day, after hours in the waiting room, the Sales Manager would give me attitude for leaving and asking them to call me when they were actually ready. My Salesman could not answer a single question I asked and had to defer to his manager for everything, including simple questions like "how can I cancel my Ford Lease payments?" and "what seems to be taking so long?". Overall, what should have been a fairly simple process was drawn out for 3 days without any real excuse or reason. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, poor customer service and an extremely slow drawn out process. More

Thoroughly satisfied as to how I was treated by the salesman Brandon Williams, and sales manager Miguel. Like other people, I hate to car shop. My experience with Brandon, and this dealership changed all that. Very sincere, caring individuals, no pressure to purchase anything. I inquired about a vehicle. they located the exact color, and options that I wanted. Gave me what I felt was fair for my trade, and we finalized the deal. Brandon was very knowledgeable, and professional., They are most fortunate to have him in their employ. Features were all explained to me upon delivery, and Brandon answered all my questions. He is a true professional. I will continue to recommend Brandon, and this dealership to my family, friends, and co-workers. More

I cannot express enough gratitude to your sales rep, Omar Ananbeh, for making the whole car buying experienece a pleasure. i had some reservations about buying another Ford product after the situation i encountered with my previous vehicle, 2007 ford 500. A few weeks ago my transmission went. I purchased the 2007 ford 500 in 2009 with 7000 miles on it. After 7 years, with 58,178 miles the cvt transmission died. It would cost upwards of $6000 to repair with a new ford factory transmission. I contacted ford motor company directly about the problem. Under the 5yr 60,000 mile warranty, i was not covered. ford refused to do anything in standing behind there product. I figured the only way to get anything in trade for the 500 was to go to a ford dealership. After all is said and done I am glad i chose to go herb chambers ford in Braintree. I was looking to purchase a vehicle similar to the 500(but without the lemon transmission), which is the full size taurus. Unfortunately the price tag on the taurus was a bit out of my price range. Omar was personable and very easy to talk to. I was very pleased that he did not try to pressure me into purchasing the more expensive taurus. I commend him on his knowledge of the ford product line and in finding me a suitable substitute in the ford fusion. Thanks for getting me a fair trade for the ford 500. I again want to thank Omar for making this a hassle-free experience, and for making himself readily available for any and all questions i had. He went so far as to volunteer to come in on his day off in order to expedite the final transaction of the sale. His professionalism and customer service skills were exceptional. Thanks again, i know i am going to enjoy my new fusion for many years to come and i know i have someone i can turn to if i encounter any problems with my ford purchase. sincerely JOHN C. More

The pricing negotiation experience was fair and they gave me the best price of 5 dealerships. They did not waste my time (like many dealerships do.) I would recommend doing business with Frankie if you are looking to buy or lease a new car. In the finance department I worked with was Kevin Norton, and he was excellent as well. Explained everything and was very nice. I will definitely go back they are both 5 star guys! More
