After having done a considerable web search on Honda's, and carrying the printed stats and reports with me, I went to Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington MA. looking for a new Honda Civic. The sale Honda's, and carrying the printed stats and reports with me, I went to Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington MA. looking for a new Honda Civic. The sales rep Manny was dressed poorly, and I thought he was a service technician. During the test drive I mentioned that I would miss the All Wheel Drive of my current vehicle because I never had to dig out my car after a snow storm, and Manny started pushing me to look for something used. I told him I wasn't interested in used and would learn to carry a shovel for the three or so times a winter I'd have to shovel out. When we retuned to the dealership, and unbeknownst to me, Manny had me park in the used car area. When Manny proceeded to point out more used vehicles, I began to feel disregarded, disrespected and talked down to. I again told him I wasn't interested in used. We went inside and while we talked, a trade in appraisal was performed. During this time, Manny went to the website and proceeded to show me more used vehicles that were posted there. For the now third time he ignored me and contiued to point out cars. I told him he wasn't listening and it wasn't what I wanted. That still didn't stop him. "Just look, one more", he said, pointing to the monitor "now this car has...". That was enough for me. I felt that he wasn't listening, that he had his agenda and wouldn't be so pushy if I were a man. At that point, I said 'you don't get it' and gathered my folder and walked out. Later that day, I purchased the car I wanted at Honda Gallery in Reading. The salesman Anthony was great. Also: The amount of trade at Herb Chambers was a full $3,000. less than Kelly Blue Book for a 2003 Subaru Forester in good condition, that had only one driver and only 83K on it. Honda Gallery gave me full value on the trade as well. More
This dealership has exceeded my expectations, as with any car dealership I walked in very wary of the sales people and their attempts to sell me things I do not want/need. I was greeted instantly by a friendly face and was continuously treated by everyone like I was important and not like a sucker. I bought a Honda accord and am loving every part of it, I got it at a very fair price and was very satisfied with the helpfulness of both the sales person and the managers along with Finance. It was a quick and painless process and I will recommend this dealership to all my family and friends! More

I was not excited about purchasing a new vehicle as it had been a long time since I had been in the market, but was pleasantly surprised there. Sean met me near the door and invited me to sit with him and review what I was looking for in my next vehicle. In what seemed like a very short amount of time I had narrowed my choices to the Pilot or an Odyssey, had a test drive, and purchased the Odyssey. Sean was very knowledgeable about the Honda product and helped me to feel very comfortable with my purchase. Sean even brought me over to their service department and introduced me to John Silva, a service advisor, so I would already know someone when I return for regular maintenance. I was impressed with the attention that the dealership gives to each of their customers. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. More

I lease a Ford Fusion and wasn't sure if they would be able to accommodate me but they were happy to help and had Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington. Customer service was great from Victor in the lot who spoke with me about the cars on the lot. Offering to get a salesman whenever I was ready. Already I liked the lack of pressure. When I was ready I offered to go in to speak with someone, but Victor insisted on getting someone rather than having me make the walk back in. Out came Robbie who was very nice and knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. I told him that I wasn't necessarily looking to buy that day, but that I had done my research and knew what I was looking to spend. Once again I felt no pressure and was shown several cars within my price range. I was so happy with one of the cars I test drove and with the lack of sale pressure that I went ahead and purchased the car, even though my intention was to test drive another car at a different dealership I had already reached out too. So once I chose my car, filled out with the paperwork, I dealt with Tony in getting credit for my purchase and that to was very easy. All 3 employees I dealt with from Victor, to Robbie, to Tony treated me with no pressure and with respect. This was my 1st car purchase where I brought no one & I was prepared to feel intimidated, but nothing could have been further from that. I have since told numerous people about my great experience and will definitely be back when it's time for another car. I've since been back for my 1st oil change and continue to be happy with the level of customer service. More

Not only were we greeted at the door with a smile but we were helped by an advisor as soon as we walked in. John Silva went above and beyond to fulfill our needs and was very helpful. He answered all of our questions in great detail and went over all of our paperwork with us.
