Robert, I'm disappointed to read this feedback. As we discussed in length, your tires did not have premature tire tread problems. The tread life of any tire may vary widely depending on maintenance, driving conditions and other factors. There is no set mileage for the tread life of the run-flat or any tire. Tread life of Sienna’s run-flat tires may be as low as 15,000 – 20,000 miles and may be as high as 40,000 miles. When we spoke, I offered to help the best I could and you refused our offer to help. Howie Thanks for your detailed response. Yes, you are correct, I declined your offer to purchase new tires through your dealership. Yes that was kind of you to offer to sell me new tires. My main problem with the interaction with your company remains. You sold me a new car with a printed form in the glove compartment stating that the tires are warranties by the manufacture, in this case Bridgestone. As you now know, Bridgestone does not in fact guarantee or warranty these tires in any way when they are bought with a new Toyota. The exact same tire is supplied with a warranty by Bridgestone when it's bought from a Bridgestone dealer but not when bought from Toyota on a new Toyota. It is also the fact that Toyota does not warranty these Bridgestone tires when bought a new Toyota. It is is my humble opinion as an individual customer, that you should stop selling cars with a printed statement which states in no uncertain terms that the tires are warranties by the manufacturer. By all means, please alright elaborate in a response as you see fit.
