I made an appointment to have my car inspected and oil changed, also to have the screeching brakes checked and problems with the steering wheel shaking if going over 40 mph when applying the brakes. Trish was very helpful she had the mechanic check out all the things we discussed and she came back to me and explained everything that was wrong and what they were going to do and the cost. Also left me know anything that needed to be done for it to pass inspection. Very helpful and very pleasant and personable. Some additional repairs have to be done but parts had to be ordered, she explained that the parts department would call me and let me know when they are in and I am to contact Trish to set up an appointment to bring my car in for the additional work to be done. She also stated she will arrange for me to have a loner car for these repairs so I don't have to take off work. More
I was in today for an state inspection. I mentioned to the associate that i need my car done as soon as possible, due to an doctor appointment. Not only my car was inspected, washed , but i also received the associate that i need my car done as soon as possible, due to an doctor appointment. I was very pleased with the attention i was given from the moment of arrival till i left. I was driving from Pittsburgh to NYC. My Grand Cherokee broke down about thirty miles from Harrisburg. I looked up several Jeep dealers in the area. Freedom was very friendly over the phone (Trish Hollenb broke down about thirty miles from Harrisburg. I looked up several Jeep dealers in the area. Freedom was very friendly over the phone (Trish Hollenbaugh) and recommended a tow company. I had to spend the night, but Trish and Freedom worked quickly to get my car fixed by lunch time. Trish was the best: very personable, friendly, and kept me up to date on everything as they examined my car. I didn't get taken advantage of either; the cost to repair was much less than I had feared it might be. More

When I first moved to Harrisburg several years ago, I tried the dealership that occupied these premises before, but was not impressed, so I took the car to another dealer several miles from my home. Since the new ownership? took over, the service has been very good, and I appreciate the fact that I don't have to drive several miles and then wait in the dealership for service. Went in for an inspection and grinding front brakes. Told the noise was from the back brakes not the front brakes. Replaced the back brakes at a alot of $$$. Took it back and all they could do for me is tell me to take it back to the original place I got my latest brakes on the front. Also had a Chrysler rep there and not willing to do ANYTHING for me. I'm still looking for a reputable dealer in the Harrisburg area because these are guys are nice, but as slimey as it gets. They got my $$$ and then didn't care about anything else, especially not fixing the problem. NEVER AGAIN! More
Today I had to take my car that I purchased a week ago back in to be serviced for the second time. My expierence this time was much better than the first. I was able to get my car in quick and easy. I called Evelyn this am and told her about my problems with the car and she told me to just ask for Allen and he will take care of it. Freedom Crysler Jeep fixed my cars problems quickly today and they gave me a very nice rental to use. I was extremely satisfied with everything the dealership did for me today! Hopefully my vehicle won't need serviced anytime soon, but when it does I'm sure freedom will do a great job again. Thank you Evelyn for answering your cell phone this morning on your day off and thank you freedom crysler jeep for being so friendly! I don't know any other owner of a dealership that would give you thier personal cell phone number, and I really appreciate it! I had my 2003 Jeep inspected today. My service contact was Dave Travis who was very friendly and responsive to my questions. We reviewed the items and I stated that at least two of the items were completed and the third was not. He provided prices and no pressure to get this done right away. Dave did provide me his contact name and number for when I would schedule the needed items to be serviced. Overall the experience was good, and very helpful. More
I bought my used vehicle 4 days ago from feedom chrysler jeep. It is a 07 nissan pathfinder. Yesterday it would not start. I had to get it jumped and then I took it to the service department. They told me that I should have scheduled this 2 weeks in advance. Having bought the car 4 days ago, I didn’t plan on it not starting. I thought this was ridiculous! They claim to be able to give you a rental when your vehicle is being serviced, especially if you just bought the car 4 days prior. The service there was unprofessional and rude. They didn’t care that I just bought the car and had to miss work to take it in, or that I have 3 kids to get from school. All they cared about was getting their money. I spoke to the owner Evelyn, she told me that she would try to find us a rental, and then hung up on me. If I would have known that only 4 days after purchasing this vehicle I would have these issues already I would not have got a car there! They obviously didn’t care about my car not starting, or they would have replaced it before they sold it to me! I will tell everyone about my experience there! I strongly suggest to not buy a vehicle from freedon crysler jeep and I suggest not using the service department. I want to update my thoughts on freedom chrysler jeep. Evelyn(the owner) called me today to apologize for the expierence I had. She was sincere and seemed to really care about what had happened. I do not want to tarnish the reputation of freedom crylser jeep, Evelyn, or her staff. I only wanted to give the honest facts about what had happened to me. Evelyn explained to me that she was not aware that the phone had hung up. I do believe that it was disconnected upon trasfering me to another person. Yet after it hung up, I did call right back and left a message, which was not returned. I understand accidents happen, but it is hard to not be upset with the experience I had with them. I still feel that my battery should have been fixed before I purchased the car and that I should have recieved a rental. But I do very much appreciate the apology and concern I recieved from Evelyn. I will consider giving Freedom crysler jeep a second chance. Actions speak louder than words, and I will keep updating my encounters as I have them.,,hopefully the next post will be a positive one!
