I wanted to get pricing on a 2014 Civic EX or EX-L and Amber was very quick to answer "ALL" of my questions and get back to me quickly, even on Sunday I wanted to get pricing on a 2014 Civic EX or EX-L and Amber was very quick to answer "ALL" of my questions and get back to me quickly, even on Sunday when the dealership was closed. From Whom Should You Buy a New Car??? My story started out with an oil change for my wife's 2014 Mustang at a local Ford dealer. We were waiting for the 90-minute oil change to be complete My story started out with an oil change for my wife's 2014 Mustang at a local Ford dealer. We were waiting for the 90-minute oil change to be completed when my wife said, "Why don't we look at cars while we are waiting?" I have a 2004 van that I drive and it has well over 100,000 miles on it. So, getting a car is something I have thought about from time to time. We started out looking at used cars on this Ford dealer's lot and eventually, once we had a car salesman in tow, pushed over to the new cars (2014 new cars). We were looking at the Ford Fusions with the 1.5 Liter and 2.5 Liter engines. Fusions are an attractive car and the mileage economy seemed just about right. One thing led to another and eventually (before the 90 minute oil change on the Mustang was completed) we were sitting down talking about the bottom line. Of course we didn't buy that car, but we went home and did our homework, jumping on Edmonds dot com and researching reliability through Consumer Reports, etc. RELIABILITY - now there's a word that will get you thinking. Do I want a Ford Fusion or maybe something comparable in economy and size, but more reliable. Quite naturally our minds shifted to Honda, which is always reliable. We launched an internet campaign with about 4 Ford dealers and 4 Honda dealers, who began soliciting our business with great gusto. We visited another Honda dealer in the area who did their best to get our business, but, ultimately it was Amber Dosch (on the telephone and via e-mail) and Chris Schroeder (both in person and on the telephone) at Bel Air Honda who earned our business. LESSONS LEARNED: It isn't always the best price that sees you buy a car where you buy it. It has a lot to do with the people you are buying it from! Thanks, Amber and Chris!!!
