There were just no hassles. When I asked for the price, I got the price. It wasn't a big show to try to prove to me they were giving me a good deal. Chuck Hanna knew that I was waiting for Honda to come I got the price. It wasn't a big show to try to prove to me they were giving me a good deal. Chuck Hanna knew that I was waiting for Honda to come out with low interest financing and left me alone until Honda announced the low interest rates. Chuck even let me know days BEFORE Honda had posted it on their web site. More
Service needed: new valet key for Accord. Estimated 45 min, ran 60. Programmed new beeper key instead of valet key requested. Advised it would be an additional 10 min. to do proper key--it was 20. Bill min, ran 60. Programmed new beeper key instead of valet key requested. Advised it would be an additional 10 min. to do proper key--it was 20. Billed labor @ $97.67, based on $95/hr; can't tell whether I paid for their labor in fixing mistake, but I may have. Added $12 hazmat charge to bill. I asked what hazardous materials were involved in programming valet key. Cashier said, "Oh, they just add that on." I persisted in wanting to know details. Never got explanation, but they took the hazmat charge off final bill. This was 2d bad experience w/service dept. First was when TPM light kept coming on; required several trips back to dealership before diagnosed. However, that service manager apologized and tried to be helpful. More
I drove 100 miles in the snow to see Joe Ski after he quoted me a great price online and because he promised to give me a great price for my trade; he didn't disappoint. After being quoted $11k for my tr quoted me a great price online and because he promised to give me a great price for my trade; he didn't disappoint. After being quoted $11k for my trade at Tysons Honda, they quoted me out of the gun $15 and ended up giving me $15,600. There was NO pressure to buy, no hidden fees, no $500 wheel locks and mud guards like at Tysons, and I drove away with a new car after actually having FUN buying a car! If you are reading this and are in the DC area- don't do like I did. You'll go nuts dealing with everyone local and they'll try to cut the value of your trade and the price of your car. Joe Ski is the most honest car salesman, he'll give it to you straight and make you happy. Save the headache, save the time, see Joe. Even the little stuff that could be a headache wasn't; because of the snow and super cold the car battery in the new car wasn't wanting to start- he put a note in the sales slip saying if I had the slightest bit of trouble that he'd get me a new battery without making me drive all the way back. That is putting the customer first! If there was one regret, it would be that I didn't come here first and that I subjected myself to the other dealers. Stop reading this- go see Joe. THANKS JOE! I love my new Honda Element! More
Simply put this is the best car buying in my life and I have bought about 8 new car during that period of time. My sales consultant Chuck Hanna was up front with everything right from the beginning. He e-m have bought about 8 new car during that period of time. My sales consultant Chuck Hanna was up front with everything right from the beginning. He e-mailed me a detailed quote breaking down all the costs and when I went to close the sale what I paid for the car was exactly the same to the penny. During the buying process I dealt with 4 other dealers in my area and all the others ranged from bad to worse. Dealing with Chuck and Mile One Heritage gave me faith that there are still honest and upright sales consultants out there. I would highly recommend Mile One Heritage to anyone who is in the market for a new car. More
We were not expecting to purchase the Accord Coupe V6 EXL on our 1st visit, but Bernie's helpfulness and patience in fielding our questions, and with none of the usual pressure tactics, made it an easy decis on our 1st visit, but Bernie's helpfulness and patience in fielding our questions, and with none of the usual pressure tactics, made it an easy decision for us. Bernie and the Heritage staff were not elusive with the numbers either. When it was time to talk price, Bernie provided the invoice numbers and explained the withholding amounts, and we were convinced the final price was a good one for us. I would definitely recommend Heritage Honda to anyone. More
This dealership worked with us for the best price possible when we mentioned we were using our benefit of a buying service of Vehicle Advantage. This dealership took that information and gave us the possible when we mentioned we were using our benefit of a buying service of Vehicle Advantage. This dealership took that information and gave us the best price possible without any doubt. They beat two other dealerships on base price and price for installed accessories that we wanted. No pressure and always returned a phone call. Everyone very pleasant and friendly. We just want to say that the service department installed the fog lights on our new CRV and got it ready for delivery in 1 day. Without a service department that is so efficient, you would not have a very happy new car owner. We love the new color Titanium! More
My wife and I decided that we needed an SUV and she was in love with Honda having owned an Accord for 10.5 years and experienced 155K miles with it. Her mind was made up and the Pilot was going to be it. A in love with Honda having owned an Accord for 10.5 years and experienced 155K miles with it. Her mind was made up and the Pilot was going to be it. As a member of USAA, I used their buying service which gave us a price of $200 below invoice. After submitting the online request, they gave us 3 dealers that work with USAA and offer the USAA price. I emailed Honda of Westminster and got a quick response from Joe Ski who confirmed the price. We dropped in to the store unannounced since we were having dinner up there and met Joe Ski who welcomed us back to his desk. We discussed what we were looking for and he found out that the exact Pilot that we wanted was coming in a few weeks. It was a week away from being built. We confirmed all the numbers and prepared ourselves for the wait. Joe and I emailed each other a few times and I finally got the email from him letting us know our Pilot was in. We made an appointment with Joe and filled out the necessary paperwork, looked over the Pilot, got our trade appriased, and set a delivery day and time. The trade value was the same that CarMax offered so the offer was very good. That night, Joe informed us that Honda Financial Services had just come out with special rate financing of 2.9% for 60 months. Now I'm really glad we had to wait for the Pilot to arrive. On the day of delivery, the Pilot was sitting out front all ready to go. We test drove it, signed some paper work for Joe, spent a few minutes with Mike Wheeler in the finance office, than drove away in our new Pilot. The whole experience was delightful, easy, fun, interesting, and I can go on and on. Joe Ski was very helpful and courtious and responsive and easy going with not one hint of any type of pressure. I will recommend Joe and Honda of Westminster to EVERYONE!!! Go see Joe Ski if you want to be treated like a good friend. He will definitely take care of you. One piece of advice coming from a guy who sold Cadillac's for 3 years-DO AS MUCH RESAERCH AS YOU CAN SO YOU CAN HAVE FUN THRU THE WHOLE PROCESS OF BUYING A VEHICLE. If you deal with the right people, it will be a great experience and Joe is one of those people. THANK YOU JOE SKI and I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE! More
We dreaded having to buy a new car - the haggling, the games, etc. But our experience at Heritage was very good. John Mohlhenrich was our salesman; he gave us a very competitive price from the start and w games, etc. But our experience at Heritage was very good. John Mohlhenrich was our salesman; he gave us a very competitive price from the start and when we produced a slightly lower price from a dealership in Hagerstown, he promptly matched it - no questions asked. He hunted all over the tri-state area for exactly what we wanted and delivered it in one business day. Also, he did everything in advance that he could so picking up the car wouldn't take so long. The financing guy Mike Wheeler worked to find us an even better intrest rate on our loan than we found for ourselves and provided real metal tags with registration. We'd recommend them to family and friends. Finally, although we planned on buying one car now and another in about 2 years, we are considering going back for the second car now. We discussed it with them this afternoon (1 week after the first sale) and they made some sensible, no-pressure arguments. Anyway, if it's now or 2 years from now, they are at the top of the list for us. More
When I decided that I was going to treat myself to a new car, the choice was a Honda CRV-EX-L or a Subaru Forester. My first stop was Northwest Honda where the manager tried to tack on an additional $1300.- car, the choice was a Honda CRV-EX-L or a Subaru Forester. My first stop was Northwest Honda where the manager tried to tack on an additional $1300.- ,calling it a "national sales average adjustment". That made me laugh. Next stop was Heritage Honda in Westminster. I walked in and told Bernie exactly what I was looking for and I wanted it in Tango Red Pearl. Lucky day for me as 1 had just been delivered. The manager offered a small discount. I wanted to at least look at the Subaru before making my decision. Bernie's reply was "may the best car win". I liked that response! After sitting in the Subaru, I found that it was just not as comfortable as the Honda. Now my mind was made up and pricing was a factor so I looked on the internet and found that O'Donnell Honda would give me a better deal. So, I e-mailed Steve Rubin and told him that if he matched the price and added fog lights that I would be down to buy the car. His response was "call me! I think we can work a deal". So, I called him and told him that I had made the same offer to O'Donnell Honda and wanted to wait for their reply. Their reply was " I'm confused, we have already offered you the best price possible". So, I called Steve and told him I would be in on Sat. to pick up the car and I was paying cash! Today when I went to pick up the car, I was surprised at how thorough Bernie was explaining all the features, disclosures, etc. to me. We even drove thru the service department to do a "meet and greet"! When Steve said "we are all family here" I certainly got that feeling! More
