Mike Gates went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my purchase after spending his time researching the parts that I was interested in. These two individuals made my time at the Service Department a wonderful experience. And the receptioninst, and her dog, were just the icing on the cake. Took Accord to dealership for first oil change. OK, not a major operation but many times some establishments can make you wish you never used them for even simple services. NOT SO, here. Everything went as promised. Recommended tire rotation and, respected my declining the service (since I do much of the auto maintenance work myself). Answered questions about oil life indicator versus the mileage point at which I am used to changing oil, and, about 5W20 oil. The service was very, very courteous and prompt. This was my second visit (first unrated) to this dealer service center. I took the car here shortly after we bought it for option installation work I ordered on the Honda .net website. I don't think the service department made a lot on this website-ordered install but they did it, shuttled me back and forth to my home (20 mins each way), and were incrediby professional and nice. This experience made me choose to bring the car back even for this routine service. High marks for Ms. Strauss and her colleagues. And if you are wondering--yes; I know this was "small work." But I feel that if they treated me this well for small things, they offer the promise of the customer service you;d expect for higher cost work. More
I interacted with the service man in the garage. He was stocky with facial hair. He was very pleasant to work with. I would recommend this garage and dealership to my friends and family. I needed wiper blades and from the time I got to the parts counter to the time I drove off the lot was 10 minutes. INSTALLED!!!!!!! We also bought the car at this dealer new. Primarily I worked with Robert Butts in the parts department. He went above and beyond my expectations, answering all my questions, and even printing out diagrams, should I decide to install the part department. I have a 2008 Honda Accord and this car has been nothing but problems to me. Now I have a problem with these rear brakes. I know Honda sent the class action letter, but I did not understand what I supposed but problems to me. Now I have a problem with these rear brakes. My 2007 Accord needed a new evaporator (for the ac)- there was a flaking defect. The repair was still under warranty, so an appt. was made (for a Wed) and a new part was ordered. Once my car was disma there was a flaking defect. The repair was still under warranty, so an appt. was made (for a Wed) and a new part was ordered. Once my car was dismantled for repair, the part that was received was defective, so the repair couldn't be completed in the 4 hours as promised. I was given a car to drive, and I would have to come back the next day (Thurs) when it was ready. The call came too late in the day for me to get to the dealer before service was closed. So, the next morning (Fri) I arrived for my car. When I got in it to cool it off before leaving, the ac was blowing hot air. I had to leave my car for the weekend. I left again with the "loaner" car. I expressed concern about having to return to the dealer again. Malcom, the service tech, said he would get my repaired car to me and pick up the loaner. On Mon the repair was done, and Bill brought my car to work and picked up the loaner. In addition, the next day (Tues) Malcom called to make sure all was ok with my car. Malcolm and Bill are very conscientious and courteous, and know that customer service is a priority. They have been a joy to work with. The service dept. and the dealership are most fortunate to have them on their staff. I know I am grateful for all they've done for me !!! Thank you, Nancy More
