The other staff members, however, were borderline incompetent. Let me ellaborate. Saturday, 12/3, my wife and I visited Heritage VW in Parkville to have a trade-in evaluated. We arrived at 3:00. After emailing the internet sales department beforehand, we were handed off to Aleksey when we arrived. Aleksey had a delivery of a new car scheduled and stated he would help us after the delivery. We negotiated a very fair price with sales manager around 5:00. We scheduled an appointment for 3:00 on Monday 12/5 for the completion of the paperwork and pickup of the Gti. I received a text, email, and phone call to confirm our appointment - all of which I responded 'yes' to. When I arrived at 2:30, and my wife at 3:00, our salesman quickly greeted us and proceeded to his desk. The dealership was not busy. Long story short - we didn't leave the dealership until after 6:00. The finance manager was 'busy', so we were left to chat with the salesman for well over an hour. I am grateful he was able to keep us occupied. We were informed that the finance manager was relatively new, hence the delay. The process seemed to take forever. Why did we need an appointment, confirmed three times, only to wait for over three hours to take delivery of a new car? The last new car we purchased (at a Ford dealership) took 20 mins. to complete the paperwork. Looking at the new car, it was apparent the detailing was rushed. There were streaks, dirty windshield and rocker panels, left over protective plastic film inside and out, trash left in the glove compartment, and tire shine that appeared to be applied from five feet away. The salesman was apologetic and offered to have the car cleaned again. I respectfully declined. I just wanted to get out of there at that point. More
Fantastic Service Experience I brought my car in because I was having engine problems. I was able to talk to Matt Wobbleton on the phone before bringing it into the shop. He let me know what to expect before coming into the shop. He was there when I dropped off my car, listened carefully while I explained everything that was going on and scheduled me a ride on the shuttle. He kept me informed during the day as things were happening. When the service was done, he called to let me know and scheduled the shuttle to pick me up to get my car. From start to finish the service I received as fantastic. The facility is clean and well maintained, while I did not stay while my car was being serviced I know that I would have been comfortable in their waiting area. More

I was very happy with how they treated me--with respect and candor. I would definitely buy another car from them. I'm a very deliberate, price-sensitive customer, and they did not rush me at all, which I appreciated. Very soon after I took delivery of the car, an issue requiring warranty service arose. Matt Wobbleton, my service advisor, has given me excellent service. The technician who went for a drive in my car with me was also very nice (I don't recall his name). Though my car has been at the service department for a total of 30 days, Matt's great service has encouraged my patience as the technicians address the very complicated issue with my car. I've appreciated always having a nice loaner car to use, as well. More

They wanted me to bring in my car so they could take a look at it. I thought that was weird because they had serviced my car recently--shouldn't they know what my car looks like? They called me incessantly until I told them to stop calling me. Why the hard sell? September 2016 I took my car for a warranty-covered service and asked the service advisor to check out a few rattles and shakes I had been hearing. They kept my car all day, did the 30k service, but did not "have time" to check out the rattles and shakes I wanted investigated. October 2016 I make an appointment to get the rattles and shakes checked out. I dropped off the car off at 8:20 am. At 3:30 pm, the advisor phones and says they will have to keep my car until Monday (it was Friday) because they had not had time to look at it that day. I had been without a car all day. What are appointments for anyway if the person giving them does not honor them? So done with Heritage VW More

Once again...a great car buying experience I just purchased a Beetle Turbo Limited Edition - Blue Denim. This is my 5th Volkswagen so obviously I am a Volkswagen person. I would never by a car from anybody other than Heritage Mile One in PARKVILLE. The sales staff is outstanding and the service department is always great. The manager Gabe & Randall Melvin had me work with Melissa Cole. I never met anyone more knowledgeable about her product. I was really impressed. She seems very dedicated and passionate about her job. I also need to give a shout out to Doug, the finance guy. I am sure he was told I never buy anything extra. Somehow I ended up buying 3 things!
