I would like to thank Mr. Abbott for contacting me in less than 24 hrs after submitting this review. The people at Heritage are truly concerned about their image and want to do things the right way. I have had 9 different vehicles to drive in my life and this was the first time I have encountered a modification of required service to a major part in vehicle. I have to say I was a bit skeptical on their modified time line. I felt I had been taken for several hundred dollars seventeen thousand miles early. Mr Abbott contacted me in regards to my issues and explained that VW can modify recommended service based on the history of repairs. replacing a belt is certainly cheaper than rebuilding a TDI engine! Hence the change. I have verified this change for the timing belt replacement and am glad it was done. My only issue left is with VW for not sending out notification of modification to registered owners. If the TB breaks at 90k would VW cover the repairs to the engine if the service interval was changed to 80k? I asked that question and did not get sure answer yes or no. As for the other issues, they happened and should not have! I would like to thank Mr Abbott for the quick response and concern and helping me to understand the timing belt service modification. Just like I said in the first review, If you have an issue let someone know. Everyone at Heritage wants you to be satisfied with their work. If your not, Mr Abbott will get it done right! If I could edit the first review to remove NO from if I recommend the dealer I would.
