In response to “Mammy’s” critical Dealer Rater review of her body repair experience at our dealership, we agree with her that the length of time for repairs was greater than “Mammy” or Heyward Allen Toyota would have preferred. We readily accept criticism and blame – when due. As points of clarification and accuracy: 1. Mammy’s car was towed in 10/9/17; delivered 12/8/17; one day shy of two months – not 3 months as she stated. 2. Heyward Allen Toyota paid for Mammy’s rental car immediately when Rental coverage of her insurance company expired – No expense to Mammy 3. Mammy’s husband turned our rental car in without notifying us of a damaged tire or other undisclosed damage. The original undisclosed damage amount was $556.62 which State Farm paid (rear bumper damage) with no deductible. As we were repairing that damage we discovered additional damage under the vehicle that State Farm would not cover. ($618 in damages) which was due at delivery of your vehicle on 12/8/17. 4. From 12/8/17 until 3/1/18, Mammy had not paid for said damages, nor returned phone calls. We called; sent a certified letter to Mammy’s contact address (which was returned marked unclaimed). Then and only then did we go to magistrate court to seek payment. 5. On 3/27/18 “Mammy” called us and committed to come pay the past due balance – “Mammy” did not show. 6. “Mammy” is quick to criticize; but yet has failed to pay her debt of almost 4 months. 7. Please draw your own conclusions to this accurate account of “Mammy’s” 1 star review of us. In operating our business, we make every effort to accommodate our customers. I’m not going to go back and forth with Mr. Middlebrooks, he doesn’t disputed the fact that I’ve been a customer for over 5 years, the fact that we’ve spent over 50, 000 with his business over the years, I didn’t paid a deductible because my insurance didn’t required me to, not because of anyone he did, everything I stated in my review is correct, I wanted to give them a 0, but this was not an option, Yes, judge for yourselves folks, now he’s stating that we don’t pay our bills, he quickly collected the payment for10,250, from our insurance, along with our 250 deductible, he quickly collected the 26,928.25 for our 2016 Toyota Corolla bought in 2016. As stated in the review, FOLKS SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The only reason we got the truck back the time we did, was because I demanded a rental car from them, this is the only reason why they stopped racking up more money from our insurance, he didn’t want to loose any more money on his rental. We received this rental the last minute, it was not in good condition, it was in their shop for service, a tire blow out the next day, after we got it, now they claimed we damaged their rental, from changing the tire, FOLKS AGAIN, JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES, BEWARE, YOU DON’T WANT TO GET SUED FOR 600.00
