Mike went the extra mile in making sure I felt comfortable with my puchase, addressing all my concerns and reservations, answering technical questions, relating personal experiences with the brand, and dealing with problems that arouse, I would highly recommend him to any future buyer. As far as dealing with the F&I manager, you will be presented with a variety of extended service/warranty plans. My advice is to take your time to reason out what the actual benefits would be TO YOU of a plan, find out how much a plan costs in total dollars, determine what would be the expected benefits of a plan versus those dollars, know what financial risks you are willing to take in lieu of a plan, and to say 'No' when a plan doesn't fit your needs. Know your FICO score ahead of time to make sure you get a decent interest rate if you're financing. As far as the value of the trade-in goes, I found the KBB estimate to be much closer to the final transaction value than any sight unseen upper estimate, even if you provide mileage and condition estimates. By the time I got to Jason, I was distraught and frustrated, although the customer service had been wonderful up to this point, Jason just made it feel as if it was on a more personal level. He not only got under the hood and showed me what I was looking at, he showed me everything that his staff had done with the car already and that everything was indeed alright.
