Thank you for taking the time to write a review. These recalls can be done same day but it sounds like your appointment may have only been made for routine maintenance. A recall has to be seen by a main shop technician and there are only so many techs that can do this. We can gladly set up an appointment to have this recall taken care of. If you are experiencing any of the issues in the recall, please let us know asap. Not everyone experiences the concerns of the recall but Toyota is going ahead and replacing the fuel pump on the vehicles listed.

Today, I told the service man that I was experiencing some hesitation during acceleration. Unconcered abd once again, he told me it would be at least 3 weeks before my car could be repaied. By the way, as a reminder, the day I called regarding the recall, the lady who answered the phone told me the regular maintenance AND the recall issue could be taken care during the same visit. She said I could leave my car if needed and the shuttle could bring me home and pick me up when the car was ready. The service man, Mr. Swanson, told me -no,that could not happen today. It's alarming knowing my car could just stop in the middle of traffic. The service man was very blazae about the situation.

After reviewing the call, our service scheduler did mention that this recall is booked out until July and would need a separate appointment at a later date if you needed to go ahead and schedule maintenance now. At that time we scheduled an appointment for July 6 to take care of the recall. You did mention to the scheduler you were experiencing some hesitation and she advised you to leave it with us for a few days to work it in with the safety concern. We would not be able to do it same day. We would advise you do go ahead and leave it with us for a few days so we can take care of it but it would need a few days for us to get the parts in and complete it without an appointment.
