I love being on a first-name basis with my car sales/repair dealership. Even though we did not buy all of our vehicles at Hilbish, we have them all serviced there. Bought truck here used and got great deal. Have all my service done here on truck and junk pt cruiser .Tommy has always work best price even on PT and gets rare parts needed. I can't say enough good things about the folks at Hilbish Ford. Dennis Rawlins was our salesman. I was impressed by how professional he was. I never felt pressured or that I was being hurried. Dennis gave us a price that I considered to be fair. Dennis helped me with my Sync system and explained how to use it. I called him several times after the sale and he was always very helpful. Dennis followed up with several phone calls to make sure I was still happy with my purchase. I was traveling in West Virginia several weeks ago and had some problems with the air suspension system. I called Tommy on my cell phone and he was very helpful. I have purchased 3 Ford's from Hilbish and have been very happy with the overall experience. More
I have been a customer since 2006. I purchased a Ford Taurus in 06 and a Ford Freestyle in 09. Both cars were CPO-Certified Pre-owned and in gently used condition. Bought car new.. paid cash.. had car in and out of shop since we bought it. Just took it back about a month ago again..would not start.. they put in new battery and alternator.. car would not start again since we bought it. Just took it back about a month ago again..would not start.. they put in new battery and alternator.. car would not start again few days later.. another new alternator.. car would not start again today.. they said it needed a new battery this time.. there service is a crock of crap...everyone I speak too hates dealing with Hilbish Ford. They never offer to let you have a loaner car NOR do they even offer to take you home or whereever you may need to go and it is all THEIR fault not ours. Will not deal with them again. More
In 2004, bought a 2004 Ford Mustang GT on the internet; pricing on the car was excellent(below dealer invoice); One of the most pleasant experieces I ever had at a dealership. The main turnoff was the financing of the vehicle. I put down $3,000 and have excellent credit. The finance person tried to give me a very high interest rate. If I would have agreed to the term it would have been the equivalent of financing the car without a down payment!!! Beware... If it wasn't for the finance person would have rated the experience excellent. Was able to walk away with the car in 3 hours the same day!!! More
Vehicle was in for recalls/extended warranty issues several times in 2 years. This dealership NEVER alerted me to any of these; they were always found by my own research and told to the dealership by several times in 2 years. Service department never communicated with me accurately or in a timely manner. They would have my car for two weeks and NEVER call me. I called them every time. They rarely knew what was going on or the status of the repairs. I will never buy a Ford again because of this experience with their service. More
