Secondly I will say that Hillside Auto Outlet was the last s First let me start by saying, this is an authentic review from a real, unbiased customer. Secondly I will say that Hillside Auto Outlet was the last stop (should have been the first) on an extremely stressful and finally successful journey to purchase a new car. I will start at the beginning so you guys can understand my journey, for starters I am pregnant due to give birth in less than 2 months and so I decided I would need more space to accommodate my growing family (yes it was a bit last minute on my part because I was on the fence about trading in my car which I had for 4 years and would own in less than a year and starting new payments). My boyfriend purchased a car maybe less than 2 weeks ago with Hillside Auto Outlet and had a phenomenal experience and so I inquired but was told, there was nothing in stock at the time that fit my criteria (used, 3rd row with a backup camera that wouldn't hit me too hard in the pocket). So I started looking online and ended up receiving all of these "preapproval" emails and phone calls from various dealerships that had inventory listed online that fit the bill. I ended up being in contact with at least 6 dealerships and visited 3 (Queens Auto Mall, Nemet and Car Citi) dealerships (I will write separate reviews) prior, who all (every last one of them) pulled a bait and switch on me. I guess this is normal but as a very pregnant woman who has 2 children, a full time job and goes to school, this was extremely upsetting and stressful. Two of the aforementioned dealerships told me to ask for people who apparently didn't exist or weren't available during the time I set the appointment which was also very unprofessional on their part. After pretty much giving up my boyfriend and I visited Hillside Auto Outlet to pick up something he forgot to get and this is where things started looking up. We ran into Isaac out front who asked how we were and if I found anything so I briefly explained my issue to him and he told me I should have never even went elsewhere ( I only did because they didn’t have the inventory at the time) and he was right. Prior to this Faz had been in communication with my boyfriend about the cars he came across to gauge my interest so I knew they hadn't forgotten about me. Either way we were told to hang tight and something would be found for me and so I did but I said this would be my last attempt. We returned a couple days later, were greeted by Leticia who got us started in looking through inventory (as Faz wasn’t immediately available) to see what they had that matched my needs and then met with Isaac who laid everything out to me as far as my options and the numbers we were looking at. He made me feel as though he understood the value of not only my time but also my money and worked to get me the best numbers and terms possible. Since it was a late on a Sunday he told us to come back the next day after he had time to speak with the bank. The next day Leticia reached out to me and let me know everything was set and I could come in to finish up the paperwork, she did a great job on the customer service end as she didn’t make me feel pressured nor forced to come in and left it up to me to pick a day and time and I decided to come in the same day. Upon arriving we discovered that as sure as Isaac said he would, he got me approved and in my new car that day, even staying after the business closed while I contacted my insurance to update my policy and get everything in order which I really appreciated as they didn’t have to do that, they could have asked me to come back at another time. I already wrote a book here and could go on and on about how this place was the light I didn’t think I'd see at the end of a very long tunnel but you guys get my drift. This place is amazing and I highly recommend them and won't be doing my car business anywhere else. More
