I spoke with a sales rep beforehand who explicitly confirmed my target price, assuring me they could work with me and make the deal happen as long as I financed or leased. They refused to give me firm numbers over the phone and insisted that I send them my current best offer from another dealership, claiming they would beat it—not just match it. After I sent them my offer and drove down to the dealership, the experience was completely different. Everything we discussed with the original salesperson went out the window, the pricing changed, and they refused to honor the numbers we talked about. It was a complete bait-and-switch just to get me through the door. Total waste of time and complete lack of transparency. More

The sales representatives are great and will help you find what you need. I’ve specifically worked with Jamel and Mario. They are fantastic! He was professional, efficient, and I would definitely recommend him. However, the finance manager, Jamaine Alphonso was awful. He started out being very friendly until he tried to sell me all add ons which I thanked him for and respectfully declined. After I said no, his whole demeanor changed. He had an attitude and I felt very uncomfortable. Then he tried to charge me an extra $455 for the first month payment of my car which was included in the down payment. I told him that everything was to be included and he said no and refused to speak with the sales representative and confirm. I asked again and he continued to say no. I felt like I was being taken advantage of financially and was extremely unhappy. I was truly ready to walk away from the dealership and find another car elsewhere. However, I do love Honda and decided to speak with Jamel and thankfully he did the right thing and got this issue fixed for me. There is no reason I should feel like I’m forced to add other packages to my lease and then presented a different price than what was agreed with the sales representative. This is my third lease with Honda and by far the worse experience with finance. I hope I never have to encounter Jamaine again. More
