Hillside Honda

Let me say this first, when my family and I went to Hillside Honda it was JUST TO LOOK at the Used Odysseys. I met Mr. Kevin Watts who showed me the vehicles I had researched. There was no pressure tac Hillside Honda it was JUST TO LOOK at the Used Odysseys. I met Mr. Kevin Watts who showed me the vehicles I had researched. There was no pressure tactics, he offered a test drive and I loved the first vehicle. He was very knowledgable of the vehicle answering all of my questions even schooling me on info that I didn't not know. My wife was fairly interested in my choices until she spotted the black 2010 Odyssey against the wall. Kevin quickly got the vehicle ready for a test drive and my family loved it! The price made me a little nervous (the 2009 was cheaper) but Kevin's assurance of his team (finance officer and dealer manager), that I would get the vehicle (which I did...very easily, still wished I could have gotten it cheaper). A few days later, the installed alarm had an issue and again, Kevin guided me through the service area and got my vehicle serviced. Although the alarm was still not loud enough (to my standards) the technician guided me through the solution (which I would have to do). Kevin had told me about the Odyssey's ability to change from 6 cylinder to 4 cylinders (the ECO - economy mode) and it wasn't till the Hurricane called Sandy I found out how valuable that feature was. Gas was short supply and the Odyssey light was on with NO GAS SUPPLY nearby. I instinctly set the trip counter and noticed that I went an additional 40 miles which allowed me to save the day for my family and reach a gas station in time!! If it hadn't been the marrerism (and no pressure tactics)of Kevin and the Hillside Honda Certified Used car sale team, my family of GAS Guzzlers (Lincoln Navigator, LS and Towncar......yes this is our first HONDA) would have been STRANDED!!! went in had a really good experince purchased a car from tony and sandy they were both really good gave me a good price and handled everything did what was best for me and not whats best for there pockets a tony and sandy they were both really good gave me a good price and handled everything did what was best for me and not whats best for there pockets at first they were more sales oriented wanted to get the sale done after words when we were walking away from the deal they were still very nice about it and wasnt aggressive about it like most dealerships.. which gave us some time to think about the deal and if it was worth it. overall i had a good experience they ended up financing me for a much cheaper rate then i expected due to all the banks they have available aside from honda financials which was very helpful and with a small down payments they were able to get me a payment of less then 260 for 5 years on 20000 car which was an amazing deal to me i would highly recommend this dealer. honest friendly and straight forward but keep in mind its the sales business and you still gotta know what your doing More

Well I came in with a great price from Bay Ridge Honda which was accepted. BUT our salesman (the first one) Patrick Calliendo screwed up the sale, car wasn't what my wife wanted, we had nothing but a pain which was accepted. This was a typical bait and switch. Patrick one week told us the car was in stock a week later at pick up the color was not. The dealership would have loved me not to buy simply because the price they agreed to was great. 18,222 for a 2012 NEW Civic EX. The dealership as a whole has no follow up skills never calling customers back. Our final sales person Christopher was very nice but he also has yet to perform the followup call he promised for us to bring the car in for items that were not in stock. This dealership needs to use this as a teaching moment. If you go there wear your steel underwear and be prepaired for some possible switching. More

From the time we walked in the door Shareef gave us his full attention. In fact, he stooped down to tie the shoe lace of my toddler. We were met by Joel as soon as we walked into the lot. He was extremely professional and friendly. A big difference fromn the other dealerships I went to. I explained that I was interested in the corolla and he went out of his way to help me to get the car at a reasonable price. I am so happy I stopped at Hillside Honda. I received great service at Hillside Honda when I leased my 2012 CR-V; it was my first time doing any kind of car deal and I left very happy and satisfied. I could tell that he genuinely cared that I was happy and satisfied; even after the deal was done he continued to assist me in every way he could. He is completely the opposite of the terrible things i have heard about car salespeople. I also interacted with the sales manager Mr. Mohammed Chowdhury, and found him to be extremely competent and professional. Both Mr. Uddin and Mr. Chowdhury are jewels in Honda's crown and I hope the company recognises them as such. Knowing that these two excellent gentlemen are accessible there, I would certainly recommend Hillside Honda to any potential buyers. More

Tyrone is a caring person as well as a very competent salesperson. He went those little extra steps to make me feel like I was an important person( He even preset my favorite radio stations on my new Oddessy from my trade in). But I think the most special thing about Tyrone is that he called me the next day to see how the surprise of the new car went with my children. Remembering that small personal detail even after everything was done has made me a Hillside Honda customer for life. I never relieved that attention from any of the other dealerships.
