I purchased a Honda Civic from Hillside Honda and Darryl Jones was my Salesperson. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with courtesy. He is a very professional salesperson and extremely polite. I looked at cars from other makes and dealerships and then went to Hillside to purchase my vehicle. One salesman from a differnt manufacturer was talkimg to me from the top of the steps while I was stil then went to Hillside to purchase my vehicle. One salesman from a differnt manufacturer was talkimg to me from the top of the steps while I was still on the bottom of the steps. I returned to Hillside and went right to the model I was interested in. It was obvious that Sherette was knowledgeable about the vehicle the way she answered all of my questions with ease. She also explained the many features of the car that I was unaware of. This is the third Honda I bought at Hillside. I love my new CRV! More

From the moment my wife and I walked into Hillside Honda we were greeted by our sales rep Shareef Hart. I had done tons of research over the internet so I new how shady these sales reps can be. But I didn't we were greeted by our sales rep Shareef Hart. I had done tons of research over the internet so I new how shady these sales reps can be. But I didn't get that vibe from this guy. We told him what car we were looking for which was the 2012 Honda CRV.He immediately asked us if we wanted to go for a test drive which my wife and I were dying to do. So he slapped some plates on it and we were off. He was very friendly and very patient with us. He had no problem answering any question we had even though looking back...some were really out of this world. Hey it was our first new car. My wife and I went on December 23, 2011 so they were having a christmas party. As we were doing the paperwork Shareef asks us if we were hungry which we were and he asked us if we were thirsty which we were as well. so he got us food and drinks which really won me over. Honda was having a sale of 0.9 APR which my wife and I thought included the new CRV but it didn't. The finance guy broke the news to us but he was very rude about it so we decided to leave. I don't remember his name but the manager stepped in and called us back. He was great. He worked hard to give us the payment amount that my wife and I would be comfortable paying. Overall the experience was great and we got a great deal. Shareef Hart is the man!!!! He has alot of "Hart" More
DISRESPECTFUL SALES MANAGER - I have a 2010 Crosstour and my lease ends on November 2013. They called me to invite to their gallery to offer me an early upgrade. I was surprised but still went to see what th my lease ends on November 2013. They called me to invite to their gallery to offer me an early upgrade. After typical sales tactics (which consists of the sales person keeping you waiting for long periods of time so you get tired and accept whatever they have to offer so you could get out of there. So the sales person asks you a few questions and goes away, then comes back 10 minutes later, asks one simple question and goes again for 15 minutes, then comes back and asks you a question like "will you get a new car today if we give you a satisfactory offer" and goes again for 20 minutes) Anyway, I knew this because I have been there before. The real problem was when everything was discussed and after I spent about 2 hours mostly waiting around... The sales person was away as usual so I went and found him hanging out in the lobby. I told him I needed to go and he could call me with his quote. He told me to come back later to get the quote. I said I didn't ant to come back and asked why still he couldn't give me the quote. The manager named DEREK MEDRZYCKI jumped in and introduced himself and told me to come back as they were still working on the quote. I told him I could get it over the phone and didn't want to come back again. I also told him that I told the sales person that I wouldn't be interested in an early upgrade since it would mean starting over with the 36 months lease period. I told him that I already told the sales person I would only consider it if my monthly payments were less than what I'm already paying, otherwise it wouldn't make sense to me to exchange my car as I was happy with it and there were literally no changes at all in the new version internally or externally. He told me "so you came here today and you're asking us to give you a newer car for less money?". I told him I didn't ask for anything at all and sales person invited me and I already told him the only way I would be interested in a deal would be if I paid less. I said if it didn't make sense he could tell me "no" instead of having me wait or making me come back. He had a smirk on his face, he put his two palms down on the table, looked at his right side towards the window for a few seconds and turned his face back to me. Then he said "so maybe you can pay bi-weekly instead of every month?" I asked if there was such a thing and what the difference is. He goes "yes, we get the money from your paycheck and you pay the same amount of what you are paying two times a month, every other week, instead of once a month..." Can you believe this guy? Of course I was very angry and told him I was very insulted. I kept asking him how he could treat me like stupid offering me to pay double. How they could call me there and mock me and disrespect me. He wouldn't answer no matter what I say. The sales person that invited me tried jump in and saying things like, "no he didn't mean that, no he wasn't trying to mock you" and even in those moments the manager (Derek Medrzycki) kept that smirk on his face. I told the sales person that he still had a smirk on his face and even so the manager wouldn't change his attitude and wouldn't speak. I tried to walk out the door and the sales person came with me and apologized for the managers behavior. Of course it was too late. I told him honda had lost a customer that day. This is the second strike for Honda. I had also visited Paragon Honda last year and after waiting 5 hours and signing the lease and everything, a manage walked up to me and said he wanted $50 more on the lease every month to finish the deal. I said we already had negotiated and agreed to all terms and payments with the sales person and he told me "take it or leave it", so I had left. If the company can not control and provide a respectful and proper sales and management team to it's customers there are a lot of other choices out there for consumers that sells equally good or better cars. Don't get stuck with this brand that doesn't respect consumers. More
