Best Mazda Dealer in the area but pricey! Bought a Brand new 2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring. Great sales cownsultant. Eric was very nice and respectful. I had a good experience. It’s a cash sale. Walked in the dealer at 6:30 pm, I walked out of the finance managers office at 12:15AM. I understand when a dealer gets busy, but for a cash deal to take 5 and half hours that’s a bit much. I liked the dealer except their deceptive pricing strategy. Car’s MSRP is $27k and some change. They marked it up $2,000 and added another $1,000 in dealer fees and I had to haggle with them to get a 2,000 discount basically to bring it back to MSRP. If you don’t care about the dealer, you will probably get a much better price anywhere else because most people are buying the same exact car for 10% below MSRP. I paid it knowing I’m getting take in for ride in the price just because I didn’t feel like waiting and wanted to wrap up the deal under an hour and to my disappointment, it took 5.5 hours. They would even give you any discount whatsoever on any accessories you buy like a trunk mat or a cargo cover. Other dealers automatically give you 20% off of accessories when you buy a new car. I didn’t get a cent. They added the customary $500 BS clear coat protection. They said it is already installed they can’t remove it. The next morning I had to go to complete the final quality control inspection since we finished after mid night and in the service Dept. I learned that the cost wasn’t even applied. So basically plan on paying over 10% more on the price over buying it elsewhere. Nice sales consultant though I can’t complain about that. They initially offered me $5,100 for my trade most other dealers offered me over $13K. They finally agreed to pay $12,000 for my trade lower than everyone else but just to give you an idea of how much of cut throat pricing strategy they have. I basically agreed to pay their MSRP and they wanted to under cut my trade value by more than 60”%. I like the car and that’s the important thing. I may consider to by from them again but only if I have time and patience to haggle because if you’re not prepared they’ll rip you off. I hope you find this review helpful. More

Great group of people to work with. I took my car in to fix a clunk and took the tech on a little ride in the dealer lot and he was able to locate and correct the issue that same day. Kevin made us feel very welcome and Luis was very professional while doing the paperwork. Luis told us we were approved for a new car. Once we got to Finance, Tim was awesome. By 1:00pm, my wife and I were leaving the dealership with a brand new 2017 Mazda CX-5. This was our second time purchasing from this dealership and each time they were very professional. If you are shopping for a new Mazda, take my advice and go to Hodges Mazda in Jacksonville, Fl. You won't be disappointed. More
