Jason pointed out all of the great features of the CX 5, showed me several models including some great deals on certified used. He was very easy to talk to and used none of the "typical" sales pressure techniques I'd experienced elsewhere. I truly felt he was set on providing the best outcome for my needs. Six months later, I can honestly say I LOVE the CX 5! Jason did such a great job (even missing his work party when we ended up staying late to finalize all the paperwork) when my son was ready for a new car he returned and bought a Mazda 3. Good job all around! So far the routine service visits have been great as well. Way to go Hodges Mazda! More
Great sales Poor service I have purchased 2 new Mazda's from the former Duval Now Hodges Mazda at the Avenues. LOVED the sales experience both times and would highly recomme I have purchased 2 new Mazda's from the former Duval Now Hodges Mazda at the Avenues. LOVED the sales experience both times and would highly recommend buying a car there. However I hate having to take my cars back for service. I will literally take them anywhere else but when it is a Mazda specific issue I have no choice. My Mazda 3 hit a small branch in the road and it pulled off the wheel speed sensor wire. I replaced the wire and sensor just to be safe. Sadly I can not reset the ABS light with my home computer so I made an appointment to have Hodges Mazda turn it off. Even with an appointment they could not get to it till the next day then they said I needed parts (new sensor) and it would be in the next day and it would be $111. Next wrong part it will be ready in 3 days and it would be $153. Finally 6 days after my appointment to reset a light I picked it up and it was $278. For kicks I put my "defective" sensor on the other side and guess what NO LIGHT. So they took of my 2 day old part and kept my car for 6 days and charged me $278 for what should have been hooking up a PC and removing the code I could not. I also chuckle when they mark my Air Filter as "Requiring Further Attention". Sad as my daughter would then do as recommended yet the air filter is a washable one that was washed 1624 miles ago. Sad the breaks are also showing as 20%-50% each yet they are less than 3 months old. My problem is that but for me knowing they are new my daughter would think she needs a break job. 3 of 4 trips to Hodges Mazda service center have gone like this. I would so encourage anyone to BUY a car her but NEVER take it in for service. More

You are informed in detail as to exactly where your vehicle currently is during the repair and whether there will be any parts delays. I am grateful to Alexa for her prompt communication. My technician (Zachary) was also very involved with the repair process and effectively communicated any serious safety issues that could impact future use. Torbin has been, and continues to lead this "stellar" service team as the Service Manager. I have owned my Mazda6 for over 12 years and it continues to run perfectly given the scheduled maintenance. This dealership continues to excel in all areas!!!! More
Terrible used vehicle sale! My boyfriend bought his first car on a loan here on February 18, 2017. I cannot believe the vehicle they sold us claiming they had performed checks en My boyfriend bought his first car on a loan here on February 18, 2017. I cannot believe the vehicle they sold us claiming they had performed checks ensuring the vehicle was in great condition with no problems. The salesman Mike Williams told us the low tire pressure light was on because of the changing temperatures outside but other than that the vehicle was in great condition. The vehicle is a 2010 Ford Explorer with only 83000 miles on it. There is a little bit of minor cosmetic damage but we could get over that considering we thought there was nothing else wrong with the vehicle. First thing we noticed was that the sticker price on the vehicle, $10613, was more than what they stated online, $9773, but this ended up being no problem and they changed the price for us. So we go through all the paperwork and after waiting way too long for the vehicle to be ready we went out there to drive the thing home! Well guess what mike told us they aired up the tires so the low tire pressure light is off! My boyfriend looked down and found a nail in the tire! Well stay tuned. They fixed that no extra charge and we finally get on our way and the next day is a Sunday and we go out to run some errands and the check engine light turned on! He took a look under the hood only to find liquid sprayed all over and a crack in the radiator! Yes they really sold a vehicle with a nail in the tire and a cracked radiator! Yes they fixed both of these things with no extra charge but then after the radiator was fixed the check engine light came back on when he was driving it home from the dealership! And then yes there is more! There is a key fob so he never thought to check the one and only key hole that is on the drivers side of the vehicle and when the key fob started giving problems he discovered the key hole does not work! Well guess what the check engine light and the key hole is not covered in his warranty. So the engine light problem would cost him about $200. We completely regret our purchase with Hodges's Mazda and are very disappointed with what quality used vehicles they sell. This also makes me wonder what kind of mechanics they have back there performing checks because they cannot even find a nail in a tire! More
