I bought a new 2010 Mazda6 from this dealer in June 2010. Thanks to my husbands extensive research we got the car I wanted at a great price. We went in knowing what we wanted and when we shared it, our requests were met with a positive attitude and friendly service (as one would expect when a large sale is on the line). The whole process took about 4 hours. I love the car. That's the only great part about this place. The service department is seriously lacking in customer service skills. I've been in a handful of times for routine maintenance, a recall inspection and minor cosmetic repairs just after driving the car off the lot. Each visit is worst than the last. Several people pass by as you wait to be assisted. There's clearly no interest in getting you in and out fast or efficiently. Until the Service dept is motivated to do their jobs - they've lost all my business. I plan to use another dealer when it's time to trade. More
It is interesting dealing with service with them. Everytime I bring my car in they tell me the tires on my car need to be replaced as well as the transmission fluid is dark. To see if I was out of control on my thoughts , my neighbor also has a Mazda and he brought his car in on Saturday and my car in Monday and low and behold they both had the same issues! The transmission fluid was dark and needed to be changed. Just thought we would share that with everyone. Otherwise they are very friendly people. More
I was looking for a used Scion Tc and Duval Mazda had one and I'm from Houston Texas; yes you got it a long distance buy. Kenneth answered all of my questions and provided all requested information; the car and I'm from Houston Texas; yes you got it a long distance buy. Kenneth answered all of my questions and provided all requested information; the car looked great and the price was great. I flew in from Houston, Kenneth picked me up at the airport, we went to the Duval, I inspected the car and it was in the condition and state as Kenneth and I talked about, I signed the paper work and was on my way back to Houston. The were a few nuances on the paperwork since this was Florida vehicle going back to Texas but Jim Tosh tried to make it as painless as possible and he did an excellent job. All in all I had an exceptional experience with Duval Mazda. In fact, if I were not a diehard Toyota/SCION buyer, Duval would be my Dealership even though I'm from Houston Texas. More
I stopped in to look at a vehicle I saw from the road. I had been looking at several other vehicals same year and make with same options and close in milage. I was looking at the vehical for at least 20 min had been looking at several other vehicals same year and make with same options and close in milage. I was looking at the vehical for at least 20 mins and was never approached by a sales person, however it was raining lightly. I went up to the show room and met a salesperson (who never introduced himself)and I asked him the asking price of the vehical. I proceeded to tell him about the other two vehicles equipped the same that I was looking at and asked him if they could do better on the price. He said that is the price and there is no room for negotiation. "Our price is what it is" He asked why I did not buy one of the other ones I was looking at and I proceeded to tell him that the vehicle was for my daughter and she liked the color of this one better. (She had seen it this weekend)He said Good Luck and I went on my way. Not sure why this dealership would even need sales poeple if this is the additude. More
I have dealt with this dealership in the past and it was great the second time around. They answered all my questions and were up front on some issues and concerns I had. Duval Mazda has one of the best service departments I have ever visited. The service manager Torben and service advisors Kevin and Justin take very good care of the customers. Prices are very reasonabl have ever visited. The service manager Torben and service advisors Kevin and Justin take very good care of the customers. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. I purchased my Mazda 3 from Sharon back in July 2010 from this dealership and the sales experience was just as positive as the service experience. Duval Mazda has me as a customer for life. More
From the moment I stepped on the lot, I was greeted with no pressure. I had done some internet research and knew what car I wanted to check out. Todd was great during the initial sales process and Jim was g no pressure. I had done some internet research and knew what car I wanted to check out. Todd was great during the initial sales process and Jim was great in navigating the deal. I have rocky credit history so I had to finance through the dealership. I think my experience was great for a first time buyer. More
Yes, we came back again less than 4 months from our original purchase. Our 2011 Mazdaspeed3 was totaled by a careless driver who ran a red light and plowed into the driver's side. Luckily, minimal in original purchase. Our 2011 Mazdaspeed3 was totaled by a careless driver who ran a red light and plowed into the driver's side. Luckily, minimal injuries and may I say the car held up very well, considering what happened. I called David and he jumped right on it, as there were NO Mazdaspeeds in the whole city at the time. He found one close and had it for us within a day. Paperwork was minimal, quick, and easy (since we had just bought the other one not that long ago). David is very easy to work with and very patient with my many emails =) My husband got his replacement 'Speed3, and I will be in the market in a few more months. For a while, I've been thinking of getting a different make, but the wonderful atmosphere, great service, and fantastic Service department are making me re-think that. I may end up with a 'Speed3 of my own. Duval Mazda, please keep your staff!!! As before, I highly recommend these guys, and you will NOT find a better Mazda dealership in Jacksonville More

Jeff was a pleasure to work with and talk about cars. He is a good listener and also a conversationalist. I appreciated that he didn’t have the pushy attitude of many car sales associates that I’ve dealt with in the past. He explains the features of the vehicle very clearly and listens for questions or comments. The one thing that was a bit negative was with the sales manager. He stepped in front of me as I was about to leave. He wanted me to sign that night and I told him I needed to go home and think about it over dinner. He said you’re going to walk out over $200. Stepping in front of me is an old style of aggressive behavior that should never be displayed by anyone in your dealership. Perception of the dealership can be won or lost with actions like that. The reason I ended up at this dealership was because of how I was treated by Nissan. So what did you deliver to me or what was my perception of what I got?? Again Jeff was great. Thank him for the sale. More
