Great service, but very expensive I made an appointment for an oil change on my 08 A4 Avant. The good: my oil was changed, they reset my service light, they did a safety inspection whe I made an appointment for an oil change on my 08 A4 Avant. The good: my oil was changed, they reset my service light, they did a safety inspection where they reported that my brakes were new (yeah-I remember paying for that). The waiting room was very comfortable and they offered me a complimentary breakfast sandwich, twice. THey washed my very filthy car and my front floor mats (no vacuuming). Lastly we discussed the Takata Airbag recall & the fact that God only knows when or if the fix will be availble in New England. Humph. The associate who helped me was extremely polite and professional and everyone there was super nice. The NOT SO GOOD: "Oil Change"- I was there for almost 2hours- good thing I had an appointment. THe cost was $130.00 plus tax ( 5 qts synthetic Castrol, Audi filter & a screw)- I knew this going in- it was more convenient for me to go to East Hartford ( I foolishly thought it would be quicker than going to my much further away mechanic- I was wrong)- so I made a decision to pay 75% more than usual for convenience & a very commodious waiting room. So Hoffman's- any thought to a "no frills oil change" that gets me in & out in 30-45 minutes? More
