2006 S4 - Clutch repair Brought in car with clutch issue. Felt like it lost hydraulic assist. New clutch was involved. Picked it up and there was an issue with play/slap i Brought in car with clutch issue. Felt like it lost hydraulic assist. New clutch was involved. Picked it up and there was an issue with play/slap in the clutch depression. Robert was very communicative during the process. Brought the car back and met with Joel to review the issue. He confirmed that he experienced the issue himself. Dropped the car off. Tried power bleeding lines, but to no avail. Joel pulled the transmission to inspect the clutch and noticed pressure plate fingers height slightly elevated compared to other ones. Ordered and installed new pressure plate and the car still has some play/slap when depressing clutch after depressing and not releasing all the way to the top, but for normal clutch operation (full depress, full lift) seems to be working well. Although it took a couple of weeks to get it right, I appreciate the communication from Robert and the extra attention and follow through from Joel. More
