I made an appointment and showed up on time, but the work took longer than I was told and the reason given The work was done and people were pleasant. I made an appointment and showed up on time, but the work took longer than I was told and the reason given was that it was busy with walk-ins. This is not the first time that I have had an appointment and have felt like the appointment wasn't given priority over walk-ins and they always seem to take longer than they say initially. Second issue is that the prices are dealer-inflated ($65 for a $7 cabin air filter!) - I understand they may be a little higher but many of the prices are ridiculous. But even more concerning was the long list of items they said my car needed (and the inflated prices for them). I promptly took my car to a trusted local repair shop and the guy laughed at what Hoffman said I needed and the prices. Some of the work recommended by Hoffman was not needed at all per the other repair shop, and what was needed was almost half the price at the local shop. I don't think I'll be back at Hoffman. More
