Can't trust but polite Brought my vehicle to this Toyota service center to replace a recalled air inflation module, it is owned by the same organization from whom I purchase Brought my vehicle to this Toyota service center to replace a recalled air inflation module, it is owned by the same organization from whom I purchased my Honda. I assume they did the work and that the work was for a valid recall and not just for Toyota to collect data on their sold autos...... The workers were pleasant, they had the part, estimated it would take 1.5 hours, finished early in just around an hour, car was washed, no charges for anything as it was recall work. They didn't hassle me about recommendations but provided their inspection results and said to call and make an appointment if I wanted to proceed but knew I didn't take their recommendations last time. My issue is one of the recommendation is that the washer fluid was low and they provided a complimentary refill. I actually filled it less than two weeks before the appointment and hadn't used it much or at all since bringing the vehicle in to be serviced. When I filled it to the top it really wasn't even that empty so I know the reservoir is not leaking. This experience just cements the fact that you can't trust dealership service centers. Find a local trustworthy mechanic or perform the work yourself and buy a cheap diagnostic code reader to check trouble codes before bringing it to the auto shops to determine whether or not they are trying to scam you. This is the fourth toyota service center that has tried to take advantage of customers from not being able to repair a fan switch and charging me for it ($165) while under warranty saying it was a dislodged cable not 'broken' (3 visits - I ended up fixing it on my first try in under 30 minutes and under $20 for tools and has never failed since...), to breaking my CD player while trying to make that repair which requires absolutely no interfacing with the power system of the auto, scratching up my dash, to recommending engine coolant changes in first 40k miles. I avoid manufacturer service centers, they seem to have the least qualified mechanics and are most pressured for charging for extras. A good mechanic won't need to lie because they will be plenty busy without adding on unecessary services. Also if they aren't part of a chain they can operate more efficiently. More

We have always had Jose Rivera as our sales person and he has always been exceptional-wonderful to deal with and was this time as well. However, the management person we were dealing with was very condescending, Jose Espinosa, and acted as though we would have no idea about financing and wasn't honest with us. Also, it was a snowy day while we were there, and there were actually employees sleeping in some of the demo cars inside the building- it was totally unprofessional. The process of purchasing a vehicle takes quite a while as it is, but then to see that you have to wait for your sales person to run around and do everything while several others just slept was just unbelievable. Aside from Jose Rivera, the customer service experience was horrible.We don't think we will ever go to this dealership again. More

When I finally decided to purchase on Thursday, Julio did a terrific job, between showing me the vehicle & its technical specs & actually closing the sale.. . There was one glitch during the actual purchase, Mike's printer did not work. That slowed the process - you might consider some new printers.. But truthfully --the personnel at @ Toyota Hoffman are terrific.. Highly reccomended David Keating More

what a deal SO MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO HOFFMAN TOYOTA TO CHECK OUT A VAN WE HAD SEEN ONLINE... IT WAS RED AND HAD A VERY GOOD PRICE ,,, UNFORTUNATELY TO OUR LUCK SO MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO HOFFMAN TOYOTA TO CHECK OUT A VAN WE HAD SEEN ONLINE... IT WAS RED AND HAD A VERY GOOD PRICE ,,, UNFORTUNATELY TO OUR LUCK IT WAS SOLD THE DAY BEFORE... we decided since it was sold we would look around... Larry a car associate approached us and kindly helped us see other options available... We were not convinced, but then the sales manager approached us to notify us about another red van he just had arrive... to our luck it was just what we needed... I must say Larry and the sales manager really did an awesome job.. I feel lie luck and God's favor was over us... thank you... More

Rich Gadomski was the most professional and gave me the feeling he knew what he was talking about. Rich is a great asset to Hoffman and I hope they recognize that. I feel like the mechanic who worked on my automobile was honest in his assessment and did really quality work. More
