Do NOT recommend. Thought we were buying smart but did not “leave happy” as their catchy slogan promotes. Informed them of such after giving them ample time to make things right, but they refused. In my opinion, I am far better off buying a used car at an auction than going through the aggravation of assuming I would receive quality customer service from upper management at HH. This is our 4th Honda btw and NEVER had any dealer issues come up-until now. After paying full asking price with no additional requests (other than to provide us with a sanitary/clean vehicle) and working through financing without a hitch, the Holler Honda GM thought our request to provide us with an actual working key unreasonable (other than 1 limited use valet key). We expressed concern to the helpful sales staff that this was a huge safety issue for us, as the car would be frequently used by students in a parking garage setting. (The valet key only opens 1 door of the vehicle and does not allow access to locked glove compartments) We felt getting 1 actual “master” key would be the absolute minimum expectation for a reputable car dealership to provide for a no haggle “quality pre-owned/dealer inspected Honda”, and we were wrong. The GM and the “managers that relayed his message” stated that this was an above and beyond request for our used car. They did not share our safety concerns. After requesting the real key we were delivered a message by a “manager” (directly relayed from the GM) that it would not be provided, and he went so far to justify his decision by telling us that it was not available to be ordered- which was not the case as I was able to locate it both via order & in stock from their competitor simply by making one 5 minute call. I informed him of the ease in which I found it. By doing the math I figured that the key at HH dealer cost would be approx 3-4x less $ for them to acquire then me. I addressed this point to them, but they did not care and refused to assist. The GM never once returned or answered my calls despite multiple attempts to contact him to resolve this issue. I was informed that he was “in meetings” “on vacation” or “unavailable.” His decision on refusing to provide a “real” key for my car and lack of any follow-through has lost this dealership our future business. If this is how they treat people who have a simple and reasonable request to provide them an actual key in the interest of being able to use their vehicle as intended and keep their families safe then William E “Bill” Holler’s principles that he founded this company on have all been lost! To add insult to injury we were offered to purchase a “key replacement program” during the finance process for a key that was never even provided. Unbelievable. I Do NOT recommend. More
