Great experience! Very happy with the vehicle I purchased! I drove up from Pittsburgh after speaking to Brian on the phone. Their price was thousands below other dealerships that I had looked at for vehicles with the same options and more miles. I honestly asked Brian what was the catch? Was I going to not meet certain incentive criteria and pay a higher price when I got up there? He ensured me that his price was the lowest I'd find and was the price I would pay. I got to see the invoice of what he paid and knew I was getting a great deal. That convinced me to make the drive up to Johnstown. The staff were all nice people, answered any questions I had once I got there. I took the vehicle on a test drive and it drove just as nice as the brand new one I had taken for a test drive a few days before. I was sold and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car! More

They are happy to take your money. If the car runs great, then you're in luck. If there are problems, they will be happy to charge you a lot to fix the symptom, but not the problem. If your clutch goes bad w then you're in luck. If there are problems, they will be happy to charge you a lot to fix the symptom, but not the problem. If your clutch goes bad within the first year, it's entire your fault and they gladly offer to fix it for more than most other garages. Their mechanics think that leaking o-rings magically seal themselves -- they gave us an expensive tune-up, said the problem was caused by leaking o-rings, then said that this wouldn't happen again. I bought my car there late 2010, and these guys were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and honest. While I already knew which car I wanted when I got there, they made the experience as comfortable as possi incredibly friendly, helpful, and honest. While I already knew which car I wanted when I got there, they made the experience as comfortable as possible, never pushing me to get a quick sale, or to purchase anything I didn't need. When I had some technical issues getting credit, they were willing to be as flexible as needed to make sure it all worked out for me. My car is still running great today, and I never found a single issue with it that they didn't point out to me when I first saw the car. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the honesty of these people, and Brian in particular. I would absolutely recommend this place to any one of my friends or any member of my family. Great experience all around. More

I've been to 8 dealerships in search of the best possible deal and finally found that Hollern & Sons had the best deal on the type of car I was looking for. In fact, Blue Knob Auto had the same exact vehicle deal and finally found that Hollern & Sons had the best deal on the type of car I was looking for. In fact, Blue Knob Auto had the same exact vehicle and listed the exact same price, but Hollern & Sons offered more for the trade-in (Blue Knob pretty much ignored the condition of the car). As a plus, Hollern & Sons were actually really nice; at Blue Knob I was just a rube with a number on my forhead. It was just a remarkably pleasant experience and well worth the 100 mile drive from State College. More

We bought a car from these people. They are the worst of the worst. We travelled to get the vehicle and upon arrival were told that the price was changed from the agreed amout. They said tough.
