Happy Happy Happy My husband has always wanted to own a jeep. The guy image of cool I suppose. However Jeep Wranglers ride and cargo space wouldn't accomplish our need My husband has always wanted to own a jeep. The guy image of cool I suppose. However Jeep Wranglers ride and cargo space wouldn't accomplish our needs. The daily driver approaching 180,000 miles was at the point of needing to be replaced and so the hunt was on. After checking the local dealers we found a couple of 2 year old Jeeps. We drove the Jeep Compass and liked the ride and with the mpg rating it would work. I also drove a 2018 Renegade to small and not a comfortable ride. I did some surfing and found three 2018 Jeep Compass. Two of the Jeeps were at Jeep dealers the other at Holm's. The Jeep Compass from Holm's Automotive had the bells and whistles we had come to appreciate in our Cadillac SUV and the safety features that were important to me. The bottom line pricing was below the Jeep dealers prices on less equipped Compass and mileage well below 10,000 miles brought us to Abilene. Everyone at Holm's is friendly and knowledgable. I drove the Compass and loved the quiet smooth ride. Chris explained the process of purchasing the Jeep which was purchased from a rental company in Colorado. The Jeep had hail damage which was repaired promptly at no additional charge to the "Bottom Line" pricing. This is our second purchase from Holm's Automotive and even though they are an hour and a half drive from our home we will be back when we are automotive shopping.
