Best Place In Kansas To Breakdown I was traveling through Kansas on my way to Denver when my car broke down on Highway 70 about 3 miles from Abilene. The tow truck driver recommended a good mechanic in Abilene, who ended up getting me a rental car from Holm Cheverolet. Kim Bacon set me up with a nice rental so that I could go on to Denver to visit my daughter while my car was being looked at. When I turned the car in the following week, Holm Chevrolet made me a sweet deal on a newer vehicle. Dave Surrite was personable, efficient and very understanding of my situation and found me the perfect car in my price range. Corey Neufeld quickly got my credit application and paperwork together and I was able to get back on the road to my home in Southwest Missouri within 2-1/2 hours. I feel like they rolled out the red carpet for me!!
