usually Business don't like bad reviews, but seeing all these bad reviews on yelp and they still haven't made any attempt at improving. tells me this is in vane. Just the same here's the cliff notes. T these bad reviews on yelp and they still haven't made any attempt at improving. tells me this is in vane. Just the same here's the cliff notes. They sold my son a car that they didn't have the tittle for.. He did the test ride and all that, they took his money and the tittle to his old car , Then when he thought he was driving away in his new car, they sprung it on him that they didn't have the Tittle for the car and he would have to wait a week or two before he could have it. two weeks later. we go there to talk to them. They said they screwed up the paper work and it will be another few weeks. Seriously how long have they been in business and they still don't know how to file the paper work. Happy Ending got his money and title back and found a better deal at another dealer. when will these shady car places learn that if you are Honest and treat people right they will return and bring friends, but when you give bad service. bad news travels far and fast . Will definitely be Honda customers in the future. Kudos to the dealership and the wonderful people we encountered and their genuine interest and attentiveness to our search/purchase. I presented an 11K offer to the salesman and he brought it to the manager, as I checked online the price was 9400. A little honesty goes a long way..... it to the manager, as I checked online the price was 9400. A little honesty goes a long way..... More

Unfortunately, this is not the old Honda North I knew and loved. What a disappointment. I purchased a CR-V from Honda North back in 2011 and have used their service department for maintenance ever since. I h loved. What a disappointment. I purchased a CR-V from Honda North back in 2011 and have used their service department for maintenance ever since. I had a great experience in 2011 and regularly recommended people who ended up purchasing as well. Customer for life, right? Sadly, no. When we were ready to purchase a new 2021 CR-V, I was pleased to find their website now offered online trade-in estimation and and what appeared to be purchase of a particular vehicle in inventory (my order confirmation even listed the stock number and VIN of the vehicle). I've purchased vehicles online before, most recently through Carmax in 2019, so I am not a stranger to the process. At first glance, Honda's process appeared similar. I selected the vehicle I wanted from their available inventory, and completed a financing application which included a hard inquiry on my credit, confirmed by an independent credit monitoring alert I received a few minutes after completing the order. I also completed several follow up steps including scheduling a home delivery appointment, and uploading my license and insurance info. According to the confirmation emails I received, I'd "saved 2 hours" by completing these steps, and I'd hear from the dealer soon with final numbers on the taxes and fees. The following day (a Saturday, no less), by 9:30 AM I'd received a phone call, voicemail, and email from a sales rep to schedule an appointment to come see and test drive my new car. By the time I returned the call at 11:00 AM, the sales rep informed me "I called you this morning because I thought we had a car but we don't". Confused, I explain I've already placed my order online and have a VIN and stock number if he needs to look it up. The sales rep informs me they have no new CR-Vs on the lot and there's nothing he can do, and transfers me to a supervisor. Several transfers later I'm connected to a sales supervisor who informs me that there's a nationwide inventory shortage and to "look it up". He looks up the VIN for the vehicle I thought I'd purchased, and informs me that it had been traded to another dealership several days before. When I ask why the vehicle was still on the website if it wasn't on their lot, he tried to say it was because I had placed the order after hours the night before. Even though the vehicle had been sent to another dealership days before. As of the writing of this review this exact vehicle and VIN are listed as in stock on their website, as are several other CR-Vs that apparently aren't on their lot either. According to this supervisor, they've only had a couple dozen 2021s all year, and none now. When I expressed concern about the hard inquiry on my credit impacting my financing options at a different dealership, this supervisor first tried to deny that there was a hard inquiry at all, and when I offered to send proof from Experian he then said "that's nothing, they'd have to run it 20 times for you to not be able to get financing". I'd expect a dealership offering online purchase and home delivery would be able to verify a car was actually still in stock BEFORE running a hard inquiry on customers' credit, but alas, I was mistaken. Feeling trapped at this point I asked what they're doing for other customers coming in to the dealership looking for CR-Vs, are they just sending them away? The supervisor stated they had more vehicles coming in, two in some kind of holding in Rhode Island, but those were "already sold" (that's what you just said I couldn't do, but ok...) and that their next order would be 3-9 weeks "maybe". Apparently I'm not invited to whatever club the folks who bought those two CR-Vs sitting in RI are in, because that option was never offered to me. So the car I thought I'd purchased wasn't theirs to sell, they offered no clear resolution or alternatives, they've negatively impacted my credit for nothing, and when I got upset at being lied to about the impact of their unnecessary hard inquiry, I was rudely treated as an upset woman and my concerns dismissed. Deceptive practices is an understatement. Selling a car you no longer own isn't just deceptive, it's fraud. Seeing reviews here and elsewhere on the web it's clear I'm far from the only person with this experience. So very disappointed that the Honda North I knew, the highest-rated customer service in MA, the no-nonsense transparency, the attentive and helpful sales staff, no longer exists. Honda North, it shouldn't be this hard for me to give you $30k. Thankfully you have plenty of nearby competition. More
