Dishonest *Dishonest* Found a used vehicle on CarGuru, salesman describes the car as "totally clean" over the phone. Drove an hour to see it. Vehicle has two *Dishonest* Found a used vehicle on CarGuru, salesman describes the car as "totally clean" over the phone. Drove an hour to see it. Vehicle has two prominent dents on the left front, which is the side facing the salesroom. Salesman says, "Oh, I must have missed those in the sun." Translation: "we will say anything to make a sale" Agreed to the CarGuru price with a slight discount for the dents. Salesman and I shake hands and he says, "It's a deal." Paperwork arrives up with an extra $450 charge. I tell him to remove it. He says, "That's standard." Translation: "it's standard to rip off our customers" Salesman offers to make it up to me via a full tank of gas and license plate holders. Means I am plus $40 for the gas & plastic and minus $450 for the "standard" charge. Caveat emptor More
