Honda On Grand - Service Center

Dave made my appointment for 10:30am and told me it would be under an hour for an oil change and tire rotation on my CRV. I said I could not come back again. After that, my car was done in about 25 minutes, which made me wonder if they even did the tire rotation, but hey, I got $10 dollars off for my inconvenience. Pfff. What a joke. More

I waited 3 hours for an oil change that I had an appointment for. No one updated me on anything that was going on with my car. I made an appointment via the website, which asked if I would be using the shuttle, waiting at the service station, or if I had a ride. I indicated that I would be waiting. When I arrived I was told that I needed multiple services and it would take 2 hours. I did not have 2 hours to wait, so I asked if a simple oil change would be quicker and I would come back for the other services when i had more time or a ride. They said yes, it should be an hour-hour and a half. Which was still too long, but I hoped it would only be about an hour. Well, just the oil change took 2 hours and 10 mins. I recently purchased this car form Honda on Grand and would prefer to have all maintenance done at their service station while under warranty, but this makes it very difficult to rationalize a $90 oil change that sucks up over two hours of one's time. Additionally, I used to go to the Honda service station in Chicago and they always washed the car, whether it was an oil change or engine rebuild, and that was a nice perk. More
