One bad egg JAMES and the rest of the service advisors are always knowledgeable, very responsive, accommodating, and anticipate our needs at every visit. TONI (at the reception desk), on the other hand, made us feel unwelcomed when we walked through the sales door entrance. She stopped us as if we were trespassing, and when I replied that we were here to pick up our car (after she questioned me a second time), she rudely replied, "Well, sheesh, I was just asking!!" The reason why we service our vehicle at Honda Windward is because we value their service over Pacific Honda, where we purchased our vehicle. TONI is an exception to your/our standards, and falls well below. Battery Problem Inefficient diagnosis of problem with the battery. Technician tried to overlook the fact that the battery had given us problems since the purchase of Inefficient diagnosis of problem with the battery. Technician tried to overlook the fact that the battery had given us problems since the purchase of the vehicle. Going in today with the same problem we had within a week of purchase of the car should have been enough to put in a new battery right away. Testing batteries for holding a charge is an unreliable way to decide if a battery is good. One test shows no problem, and the next may show something quite different. The battery’s history was that there was a problem. A replacement should have been the first and only step. (My son’s girlfriend missed a class at UH because of the delay.) This was the first time we had a question about the service department’s judgment on an issue. Mahalo for letting me give a critique on the servicing. More
